Update on my eye

I went to the clinic this morning. She is pretty sure it is eczema. She said it is probably my allergies! I stopped taking Zyertec-D last year because my allergies haven't bothered me since we moved to WV. I had no idea allergies could cause eczema, too. She told me to start taking my allergy medicine again. She also gave me an antibiotic because the skin is cracked, red, and feels hot. I also have a cream to put on it and around my mouth because she said the eczema is starting there too (little red patches at the corner). She forgot to tell me the the cream is pasty- put it on in the office bathroom and looked like I had Desitin or clown make-up on! Took some rubbing but I finally have my normal pale peachy skin back. LOL

If the spots around my mouth do not heal soon or get worse, I have to go back and she will try a specific kind of antibiotic because apparently there is something that goes along with eczema that effects the mouth and is stubborn to cure.

Thanks all for you comments!

Janie, who apparently cannot escape allergies no matter where she moves!
