Cain's red hamburg relish. It was good stuff and not sweet. The things I have found have been sweet or hot.

I could go along with the old fashioned percale sheets. I find the higher the thread count, the more difficult to iron!

When I was a kid, there was a cereal called Corn Soya. I loved it. Obviously nobody else did, because it hasn't been around for about 60 years.

Ellie, I remember Jubilee kitchen wax. My mom used to buy it and have me polish the kitchen appliances. They would sparkle.

Another product I miss is Gemini cologne by Max Factor. Loved the smell.

Soft Sense body lotion. It was a great product and I can't imagine why "they" would discontinue it. Oh... but I'm not sure that Soft Sense was a brand name though and I don't recall who it may have been.

I also miss a fitted top sheet. I like to be tucked in.

I miss Fiama (perfume) by Princess Marcella Borghese. It was the most delicious smell. Not cheap, but so, so worth the $$. It lasted a long time, since one squirt was enough.

When I was in high school, there was a perfume called Wicker. It was a light fragrance, not sweet, not spicy - just right.

Lysol used to make a product called Direct - I used it in the bathrooms and kitchen. It had a clean smell, not over powering as cleaners are today. Now they have Lysol kitchen and Lysol Bathroom but neither are as good as Direct was.

I think I may have been one to comment on the Jubilee. I was looking for it for awhile to use on my bathroom laminate. It would take the hair spray residue off the counter and leave it smooth and shiny. I did find it at Ace Hardware for awhile. It came in a spray can not the bottle but it did a good job. The last time I looked they didn't have it but said they could get it. That was a couple years ago - but you couldn't find it anywhere else.

Loved my Fieldcrest Percale sheets I got for my wedding - 41 years ago today!

Merle Norman products - loved their creme eye shadows of the 70's-80's and the Aqua Base that they made for so long and their Retouch - under eye cover up. All these things were wonderful but they have gone the way of other cosmetic companies. Now the only product of theirs I use is the Moisture Lotion.

I don't necessarily miss it, but I can remember my mother having me help clean mirrors and windows with Glasswax....a pink liquid you smeared on, let dry, then had to wipe off, the chore included getting up all the pink dust it left on sills.

Not a product, but one of our hot lunches served at school was lucky penny soup - sliced'pennies' of hot dogs in tomato soup. I got nostalgic one time and made it...ghastly.

The first thing that popped into my mind was Jubilee!! Sure wish they would bring it back. Now I use Astroshield car polish on my appliances.

I still have a bottle of Jubilee wax under my sink. Since I have new cabinets I haven't used it in awhile. It's almost a full bottle...maybe I should list it on ebay ;-). I recently gave away my Janitor in a Drum...cute container but I couldn't stand the strong smell.

When I moved into this house 10 years ago, the previous owner had left tons of cleaning supplies and air fresheners under the sink. I offered some for free on Freecycle and had takers for most of the stuff. I even have a box of Spic and Span! When was the last time you saw that box?

I really miss something that has only been gone for a very short time....Progresso Tomato Products. I loved thier puree, crushed tomotes, etc. They stopped making all tomato products.
Another thing I can't find in the market is Cracker Crumbs. I used to use them to coat pork chops, etc.

Georgymom, you iron your sheets?! I don't even iron clothes anymore. I gave it up after the ex got out of the Air Force. If somethings wrinkled I throw it back in the dryer for a little bit. I can't imagine ironing sheets.

I miss Red's Hot Tamales. They were the best frozen tamales ever. I think they were local or at least a California thing. 'If it's Tuesday it Red's Tamale Day'. LOL

I miss Glasswax, the old BonAmi Bar and Jubilee. Jubilee also smelled nice.

Woodhue perfume by Faberge. Also Stradivarius by Prince Matchebelli.

Ditto the old fashioned crisp percale sheets.

The Doggie Diner chain of bay area drive in restaurants.

I miss Woolworth Stores. They had great lunch counters too.

I miss real Walnettos, real UNO bars and the original Annabelle Rocky Road candy bar. (not the poorly imitated faux retro stuff they do now).

Chesterfield cigarettes, my Mom smoked them till they killed her.
Faberge shampoo...loved the scent.
My late son loved the candy, Boston Baked Beans. I don't know if they have been discontinued, but I was always on the look lot for them when he was alive. If I found them, I would buy a half dozen bags and and sent him a care Pkg.

I miss Avon's Hawaiian White Ginger scents. They have a lot on ebay but these perfumes/colognes are from the 1960's to 1980's. I bet these scents would have turned by now.

I miss Jiffy Mix cake,muffin and brownie mixes. Also Kraft Miracle French salad dressing, tho Catalina is pretty close. But the one thing I miss most is Betty Crocker Date Bar Mix. Those bars were so good! My Mom used to use Glass Wax on mirrors and windows, and I remember doing stencils with Glass Wax at Christmas on our windows.
My SIL also remembers the GW stencils.

Correction. The name of the Max Factor scent that I miss is GEMINESSE.

There are products I miss, not necessarily brands. I miss Team Flakes, Body On Tap Shampoo, Figurines, Boil-In-Bags, vanilla, root beer and blue raspberry flavored Popsicles (back when they were 'twin' pops), Chicken Tonight, Nabisco Brown Edged Wafers, Gatorade Gum, Hershey's Kissables, Hershey's S'mores Bars, Drumsticks (chicken-flavored crackers), Fudge Jumbles (I could easily make these but the boxed mix reminds me of my mom), Pizzaria Pizza Chips,Pepsi Lite (was that the one that tasted like Lemon?), Burger King Yumbos.

Most are junk foods and I'm better off without them but what can I say, I still miss them.

Glass Wax was great for cleaning the outside of windows in the cold winter. Several years ago I bought several cans of Jubilee direct from SCJohnson and I am using them sparingly.

I happened to go to my local store and found a shelf full of Jiffy Mix products. Yippee!

Do any of you remember Funny Face drink mixes? I believe it was made by Pillsbury. My favorite flavors were Choo Choo Cherry, Rootin Tootin Raspberry and Goofy Grape. I used to get it in the late 60's and early 70's but I don't think it's available anymore. It was sooo much better than Kool-Aid.

Minnie, I know Walnettos are still around. We have large "retro" candy stores right in my town. But the formulas have changed just like the other candies I mentioned in my post. The companies have been sold and the candy is different. Even Lifesavers are not the same today now that Canada owns them.

I think a lot of it is replacing natural ingredients with fake flavors. For example UNO bars were much more nutty in flavor (and texture before. Now they are the same whipped fake chocolate that a 3 Musketeers bars has.

Paula-I remember those Hershey Smores Bars! I used to like them too! I also liked the M&M Crispy. They were very similar to the M&M Pretzel they make now. Also those Kit Kat bites-probably good they got rid of them as I was addicted!

There was a shampoo I liked in college, I believe it was called "Outrageous" I can still picture the bottle, gold, red and black? Smelled so good!

My DH loved Kraft Egg Noodle dinner. Similar box to the mac and cheese, but it was a chicken flavor. I've seen the spaghetti sauce one too. If we are in a different area I look for it for him, but I"m pretty sure it's long gone.

They stopped making Jubilee 9 years ago.It would be great if they had some you could order on line.

I used to love Loves's Baby soft stuff.

I wore Enjoli for almost 30 years, but they dropped it last year.

And for those wanting Jubilee you might try the Vermont Country Store. They had so many requests for it that they came out with a product called Old Fashioned Kitchen Wax.

Love's Baby Soft is still around--at least some of the products. I like it, too. What I miss most is my favorite perfume, Aliage by Estee Lauder. It is still available but they must have reformulated it because the fragrance is not what it used to be.

I miss good old dill pickles. Can't find a decent brand around here. Anyone got any suggestions?

I haven't seen Love's Baby Soft products here in Canada in almost 30 years. Anyone remember the perfume called Charlie? It was very popular when I was in high school. I also remember my dad smoking Sweet Caparol cigarettes and drinking Red Cap beer, two things I haven't seen in a long time.
