These days i don't get to do much of my own planning.
Today i have to go to a chemo class,then stop by my dr's and pick up some prescriptions ,then have to pick up our GK'S from school.
Tomorrow i have to go see my surgeon and have my incision drained again.

If i have time and the energy i may stop at Joann's fabrics and look for hat/head covering patterns.

After I unload some stuff at the Recycle Center, I may go buy the paint for my Bath redo. I also need to find a scrapper for the "pop corn" ceiling in there. Yuck!

Not much-DD had preschool this morning, so it's usually rush rush to make sure we get everything done (brush teeth, eat breakfast etc) and out the door on time. Then baby and I went shopping, then picked up DD again. 3 hours sure flies!

Now baby is napping (YEA!) and I'm trying to figure out what DD and I will do?

I would LOVE to sit outside and read my book, but don't think DD will go for such a quiet activity! lol

Kickboxing at the gym tonight!

So far, I've spent the afternoon on the phone. First, my son, and then my friend that had surgery yest. She's on her way home and doing great. I'll have children up here as soon as school's out, so I have to take advantage of the free time I've got. I had a ton on e-mails this morning and need to answer a few of those. When you're retired life's pretty good!! I've been to the library, post office and a deli this morning, so I'm shopped out.

So far, time here on the puter.

washed and hung up a load of towels. Hunted for my medical journal (remember, I hate moving...) found it, and put the new doctors name and addy in.

Put some shelves up in the shed.

Showered and got cleaned up to go to the doctor.

New diagnosis: osteo arthritis (spelling?)

what fun.

stopped at the grocery store on the way home.

put groceries away.

ate lunch

now here, and will head back out to the shed, to finish up.

Had a great day so far. Got to go to work and be useful and spend time with a delightful co-worker. Found some pillows at Linens and Things which DH might like (I've been trying for 21 years to find bed pillows he likes), came home to a backyard full of firewood waiting to be split and stacked..and two young men helping DH do the splitting and stacking! Now if I could just figure out something for supper.....

There's lots of bugs and virus floating around out here too. Last week it was the sniffles.
This week?
Stomach problems.

Today has been a very domestic one for me.
I started cinnamon rolls.
Then through the dough out.
The flour was old. I did not taste it but it smelled funny.
Maybe it was the yeast?
At any rate, I started over.
Poor Custer won't have rolls in his lunch today but will tomorrow.
While the new dough raises I baked cheater-cookies AKA frozen cookies from Schwans. So easy and so good! Custer's favorite are oatmeal raisin. Mine too. The kids like chocolate chip. We're all in a cheater's paradise when I bake these yummies.

For lunch we had country fried steak.
I made the gravy from scratch but that's no big deal.
The mix gravy gives me fits. Either the gravy is waaaay to thick or the consistency of soup.

My neighbor wants me to crochet angel dishcloths for her and my plan is to start those tonight; ten angels.
It is a beautiful fall day so I think I will wait until this evening. I'm going to watch a little telly while my dough raises then ride when the rolls are baked. Last night was C-O-L-D. And windy. I was going to ride but just hung up the halter, threw out some hay and came in the house. What a lightweight, eh?

Teresa, wish I had the energy to kickbox or even walk. Been such a bum lately. I still need to fix my treadmill.

Vannie, glad your friend's surgery went well. I love the time before the kids come home and the peace and quiet are gone. Of course, I'll soon wish it were back after they've left home for good.

Moni, sorry about the new diagnosis. Hope it doesn't affect your ability to ride your bike down the road.

Nan, what did you decide for dinner? I'm making hamburger helper made with ground turkey. Taco flavor. I wanted something easy.

Lori, I still have the crocheted angel you sent me in one of the swaps years ago. It's on my fridge. Do you have any new pictures of some cute cowboys?

Hey Kathleen, hope you feel better soon. This time of year is really bad for asthma. We went by our Customer Service office to have them come out and spray for cinch bugs. When we got home from the mountains there were large patches of brown grass in our front yard. Then paid the water bill, went to the PO to mail bills and stopped at Big Lots just to look around. I found a large griddle/grill to fit over the burners on my stove. Great buy! I wanted it mainly for the griddle part for pancakes and French toast. It's fun just to see all the stuff they have.

Later we're going out for dinner. Haven't done that for a while and I'm in a cooking funk! Then home to watch DWTS.

had gone to bed last night and woke at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep so finished laundry, dishes...finally got sleepy around 5, so my day was playing catch-up...at least the things i was going to do, were already done, lol...

Well, today I had to meet my daughter (Michele) and give Kaden back to her :-(
Oh my, he did not want to go home. He cried and kicked along with giving me a death griope around my neck.
Then finally, he calmed down and his last words 'Give me a kiss Gramzee; I love you; BYE!!!!'
He can be really cute most of the time but sometimes he can be a really bad boy.
On my home, DS called and he wanted to spend some time with me, so I went picked him up!
Got home, made the bed, did last night's dishes, laundry and vac the main floor carpeting. After
I took DS back, I went tanning and waited for DH to get home. For DH's dinner he had a grilled cheese,
right nowI am on here and doing DS's laundry!
