Hi Sue. Other then work, I've been working on digging iris corms. Some I've replanted elsewhere, and others have gone to friends. Emi and Josh are coming over for dinner tonight, so that will be a little change.

Morning...er...afternoon! We just had a short power outage and I thought I would have to go out for something to eat. Not much to eat that is cold in the house...except maybe a peanut butter sandwich...which didn't sound good.

I have a bunch of work related training to catch up on so yesterday at work I e-mailed it all to myself...so that's what I plan on doing later this afternoon. I'm also going to clean the house a little.

Got my flu shot yesterday at work and my arm is a little swollen and red.

Tomorrow I'm taking Lauren and one of her friends up north to check out one of the universities she is thinking of going to. She would love to go to New York or California...far from home but that would be too expensive.

Alex is in his last year of college and still not sure what type of work he wants to do. He's also working alot and not getting a lot of sleep. He is stressing some, I think. I just hope he can find something in his career field.

Sue, today I am coming to your house for Pumpkin pie :)

Ran errands this morning getting ready for DH's cataract surgery next week. Both eyes done, two weeks apart. This afternoon taking the dog to get his nails trimmed at the vet and also his weigh in. He's a tad too "fluffy", but he thinks he's just fine :)

Oh, I hadn't even thought of pumpkin pie this year but a piece would be good right now. I haven't made one yet this season - would it sound funny to say mine are usually well-liked, I use heavy cream instead of the evaporated milk in most recipes so really a dense pumpkin custard.

My window people just left, I'd been stalling on having 3 replaced and then when I did decide to schedule it they kept me waiting 6 weeks. One of a 4-part garden window in the master was cloudy, and two in the garage that condensed and were wet all last winter. Done, finished, paid for now, I wrote him a check on his way out but I have to track down a bracket for the Kirsch blinds in the master, broke a bracket taking one down to get it out of their way. Me, not them.

The fog is beginning to burn off and I've got tons to do outside, there is rain in the forecast for about 5 days starting tomorrow and I'm not up to spading heavy rain soaked soil so I've got to get busy. Fall is usually nice for us and not so far this year when I've got yard projects unfinished - big ones, not the typical tidying up before winter things.
