Do you have Electrolux service in your area and I don't mean A&E Factory Service? They are a contractor for a lot of warranty service . Useless know nothings masquerading as repairman. Yes I got stuck with them. I would avoid GE and Whirlpool . GE, recently sold to Electrolux has rotten customer service and A&E. Whirlpool/Matag has filter access issues I didn't like. Electrolux has a new compact model that might meet your needs. Speed Queen front loader is small and expensive but excellent quality and usually local service. It was too small for me. Most of the he toploaders will have the depth problem you mentioned. I bought an LG front loader last summer. It does a fine job on the mountain of sheets.

Angelaid, yes, it's true! I have a friend that believes in everything, and I mean everything, she reads on the internet. I had to advise her husband to limit his wife's time on the internet. Another relative believes that there has been all sort of conspiracy between governments. I asked for proof, he took out his laptop and showed me all sorts of hoax articles. He even pointed out a photo of our 5 US presidents with an article out of content. I asked him: "Look at the photo, what are the presidents wearing, what are the colors of the suits. Do you think they would wear formal suits to a hidden meeting?". Then, I asked him to search for photos of president Reagan's funeral. He found where that photo came from. Anybody that forward me a hoax email is guilty of believing in them. Do you really want to know how many of these I receive a day? And that is just my email box. How many of you receive these each day? Think about it. Do you believe everything the media says? Believe it or not, the internet is part of the media also.

Help - Two Fisher & Paykel fridges side by side?
Q
Comments (13)
@User you're right we're almost being forced to choose F&P if we want that side by side look. We are considering the option of sizing it for the Frigidaire and filling it up so we can later replace it, as long as our cabinet builders can do that without making it look like a botched/forced job, haha. One other (last resort) option that we are also looking at is just getting the 48" KitchenAid Built-In fridge, but that is significantly more expensive than the F&P pair and is less wide than the 2 F&Ps combined. Such a tough decision! Appreciate your suggestion though.

I guess I was surprised he was older than my Hubs...by 1 year. He sure was busy at the marriage game. I did like his singing. RIP Eddie

He was 82. He was known more as a singer than actor. I remember him in the various scandals with the wives. And of course he was the father of Princess Leia.

I actually forgot all about him since he hasn't been in the news. I'm sure all sides of the family are grieving for him.
He was a big heart throb in my day but I never paid much attenetion to him.

The announcement of his death on the radio included a clip from an adult Carrie Fisher praising Liz Taylor for removing Eddie Fisher from her household!

He was very popular when I was in high school circa 1953-1955. As I recall he was one of the first singers to have a tv show all his own back when tv was "new" to the masses. I think it ran for 15 minutes & was sponsored by Coca-Cola.

He was popular for a time as a singer, that's true. But eventually, he was passe and no one was interested in him. I remember he sued Liz for alimony.

" Oh, my Papa, to me he was so wonderful,
Oh, my Papa, to me he was so good..."

How I cried over that in early teen years, shortly after mother & father separated & divorced. First song I ever really heard on radio and identified with for life! To this day (55-60 yrs later) my kids still tease me about this music... gags them :-)

DH and I saw Eddie Fisher in Las Vegas for the midnight show....he put on the best show. That was in 1962 and even though we have been to headliner shows since, his show still stands out.
