Marilyn I have been praying for you and all your critters. At least being at Nara's you won't be too far from them. Take care of you and hopefully God will watch over all your animals. I know you are so worried about them, hopefully they will weather the storm okay.

Take care and stay safe. Rest and get over that Pneumonia so you will have the strength it will take putting things back together after Ike.

The poor babies. Must break your heart to leave them. Many prayers going out.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this but I pray you and your animal will come through this safely. While you are away try to rest and get better so you will have the strength and stamina to deal with the aftermath.

I thought you had said the other day that you weren't going to evacuate, no matter what; and I've been so worried about you. I went to sleep last night worrying about marilync, DH's cousin in Houston, and everyone else who lives in Ike's path. Here in north Missouri, we've had steady rain since Thursday night - an effect of Ike. I can't imagine what they're going through.

Thanks Nita for the link to the update. Another prayer answered that Marilyn and the animals are all okay and no major damage.

Had a cell phone call from a dear friend in Houston. They too are fine, just limbs down, fence down, and no power. It's hard though on her elderly mother who is housebound and can't be moved. News said power may not be restored for 2-3 weeks.

I have been out of town due to a family medical emergency. Glad to hear everything is okay.
