OK Everyone....Please say a big prayer tonight!

A couple of weeks ago I had to remove a nest with four infertile eggs in it. This morning when I was sitting outside on my screen porch I noticed a new couple checking out the box. The male bird was showing it to his bride and they were talking about it togather. They were so cute. He would go inside and then come out and flap his wings and tell her something. Then she would go inside and come out and talk to him about it. I can't tell if these are the same ones are a new couple. He is a beautiful blue like he is a young male. Maybe she has a newer boyfriend this time. So, everyone in your prayers tonight pray that a new family will come and enjoy this house togather. I will keep everyone updated.

Oh my, that is very exciting. It sounds like they really like the box. Do keep us updated, hopefully with good news.

YAY>>>YAY>>>YAY>>>YAY!!!!!!! Seeeeeee...I told you to be hopeful! YES..of course I will pray!!! I knew that you'd have good luck. There may have been a repartnering with one of the birds being the same, or it may be a new couple altogether. I would lean towards at least one of them being the same from before. Sounds like it is going to happen for you indigo! Please keep us posted? OH..and never lose hope!~~Angie

Thanks everyone! I'm sure he will do well with all your prayers. He is still waiting to hear from his doctor on the results of the CAT scan. I'm just hoping we can be moved into our new apartment before he has his surgery so there isn't the stress of handling the move on my own. Although it might be worth it to get away from the elephants living upstairs from me. Since we have lived here, we have had about 4 different tenants upstairs from us. One was a bigger guy and we would hear him walk around every so often. There must be a floor board that is exceptionally squeaky in the bedroom and living room. But the elephants upstairs from us now never sit or sleep! I don't think they work either. They march around in the bedroom until 3:00 a.m. It sure will be nice to get away from them. I really need to start packing...yuck! Thanks again for all the well wishes, you guys are the greatest!

Four or five years ago I read about a study done in a hospital wing. Doctors had heard so much from patients and their families about the positive results of prayer, that they decided to conduct an experiment to see if there was any basis to the stories or if it was just "talk." The doctors had a group of anonymous people pray for all the patients on one side of the wing, but not the other side. The patients on both sides of the wing all had very similar conditions and were not known to the people doing the praying. The doctors said the results were stunning because the recoveries of those people for whom the prayers had been offered was significantly better than the other patients. One of the doctors said that, if the results had been produced by a new medication, it would have been considered a major breakthrough in the field of medicine.

I'm happy with the outcome also. Although, Keith was my first choice all the way. I say stay out of the audience. Talk to the finalists and the jury. I also think Missy should have been pulled, absolutely, totally unfair for someone to stay who can't even compete. That was total BS. Raven, I said the same thing to DH, Alec looks like he just smoked a fattie and is higher than a kite. But, he looked like that the entire time, at all the tribals, at ponderosa and at the finale. Dude needs to concentrate hard on closing his mouth. Absolutely LOVED Reed's speech. He was spot on. I choked when Missy sat there and said I had all my alliance people in line and told them all what to do and how to vote.....puh-lease! haha Can't wait til Feb! Thank goodness no returning players.

I TOTALLY agree with Angie! After having my 1st nest attempt last year fail after losing the young to cold weather (50's, rainy, windy,) They started another clutch and I was in fear of another nest failure. The eggs seemed to be going on a little too long w/o hatching.

It really discouraged and upset me but then my face lit up when I opened the box to skimpy newborns! It kept my spirits up and resulted in 4 new BBs in the world! And Dad raised them BY HIMSELF after he lost his mate.

It was a rather down season and looked like a failed one but me and the blues kept pushing forward and all ended well! I had 3 separate pairs raise 1 clutch each by the end of the season. Good luck from here! -Tim-
