OK, I'll go first.

Is there a smell you enjoy although others hate it? If so, what is it? My "Cotten Blossem" Lotion, blows some people away

Has someone ever scammed you for money? Yes, and it was very stupid on my part
Sometimes do you wish you could just fly away? Oh yes! Beam me up Scotty
If you could do anything without being judged, what would it be? I can't think of anything, but I went skinny dipping once. OK, maybe twice. I was glad I didn't know anyone there.

~ Gasoline. It reminds me of summers on Long Island, and filling up the tanks for our boats.

~ For everything? No, just just things that are my fault. Like, "Sorry I'm late." Or "Sorry I just knocked your wine into your lap." :-)

Has someone ever scammed you for money?
~ Not unless you count the street people in NYC in my youth.

Sometimes do you wish you could just fly away?
~ Not recently. But back when those "Calgon, take me away!" commercials ran, I had a few moments of temptation.

If you could do anything without being judged, what would it be?
~ I'd become a torch singer.

Do you have any tattoos? One on my left ankle I got back in 1977, had it redone 20 years later with the same girlfriend that had ours done together originally. Have you ever smoked? Cigs? yes, still do. Pot? Not for a long time, too old to get stoned. When was the last time you went to a bar? About 6 months ago with DH. I used to have a favorite bar that I went to all the time and knew everybody, but don't go anymore. I really enjoyed that time in my life. Have you ever been to a concert? Loooong time ago. Have you ever been back-stage at a concert? No. Have you ever broken any bones? Leg (15 mos. old) Nose (10 years old) Hand (11 years old) Tons of bumps along the way. Happy Sunday all!!

Do you have something kept to yourself your friend doesn't know of? Yes. Have you ever been depressed? Absolutely. Do you love yourself the way you are? Yes, pretty much. I don't beat myself up over things. Have you ever had a miracle happen to you? Many times. One time I lost the center diamond out of my engagement ring. It was an expensive ring...a foolish purchase by two 19 year old kids when we got married many years ago. I looked and looked and couldn't find it. No way could I afford to replace the diamond. Much more practical and needed too many other things to buy a diamond. Two months later, a friend stopped by to see if I wanted to go to some yard sales. I looked in my wallet to see if I had some extra money, and there where I keep my bills was my diamond. It had been in there the whole time....had probably fallen out of my ring when I put some money in my wallet. And I had carried that wallet everywhere...money in and out of it every day. I don't carry a purse...so it could have fallen out a million times, but didn't. Another one happened the other day. Same wallet. I lost it with $300 cash in it. Someone found it and returned it to the police station...didn't take a dime. With the high cost of everything now, that must have been a temptation. That's a miracle, I'd say. :)

Do you like to meet new people? Sometimes. If I have something in common with them. The general public....no. If you had $10,000 right now what would you do with it? Save it to work on my house. Have you ever accidently walked in on someone in the washroom or showering? Of course. Would you like to have a cute little monkey for a pet? If so what would you name your monkey? Absolutely not. Monkeys don't make cute little pets and like most wild animals, they shouldn't be pets. Have you ever had your name in the local newpaper? Probably not since the '70's when I did a program for children in Houston about farm animals. Who was your first love? My husband, Jody...met him when I was 12, but also a few years later, there was James...the first guy who really made my knees weak. I married Jody and he married someone else and a few years later, was killed in a car wreck. I always visit his grave when I go through my home town. Have you ever read any books that changed your life? Probably The Continnum Concept, which is about raising babies in arms. You never put them down...held constantly and always with you. That is how I raised my daughter, according to that book, and I think that is why we have a very close bond today...so in that way, it changed my life, and hers. What was the last thing that made you very mad or upset? I have a very, very old cast iron koi (carp)with an Oriental man sitting on his back. The man is holding a book, and he lifts off and the fish is hollow. I came home one day and it was gone, and I thought someone had stolen it. I found it a few weeks later...my husband had moved it somewhere else. What singer or band would you like to go see at a Concert? To tell you the truth...I wouldn't as much as walk across the street to see anyone. That's 'cause I am getting old and nothing like that interests me any more.

What's the craziest thing that you have ever done in a drive-thru? I've lost my temper a few times. I didn't do this, but my friend did. One time I went to a drive thru with her. She asked if they took credit cards. Answer was yes. In fact, she asked them twice because the person taking the order was not speaking english very well. (My friend is Brazilian and has an accent too). She ordered a bunch of chicken. Got to the window...they handed us the chicken and she handed them the credit card. They said, "We don't take credit cards?" I reached down to hand the chicken back to them, and my friend said, "No, gd-it! I asked you twice if you took credit cards and you said yes, and now I get up here and you say no." (We had to sit and wait about 20 minutes.) "Learn to speak gd english! F you!!" and she drove off. Good grief, I thought the cops were going to come after us, but it was funny. What's the hardest thing that you have had to overcome? Some problems early in my marriage. Have you ever ridden on a float in a parade? Can't remember if I have ridden on a float but I have ridden on a horse and in a stagecoach. What's your favorite type of exercise? Walking. I don't really do any exercise but I walk a lot in my daily routine and do a lot of heavy lifting.

Brand new vinyl shower curtains. To me, it smells like a new baby doll, which makes me think of Christmas.

Absolutely not. I don't take on any guilt I haven't earned. If I've earned it, I'll apologize for it.

Not that I know of

Is there a smell you enjoy although others hate it? If so, what is it? I have to invalidate alisande's post. my sister and i always like the smell of gasoline. it's right in there with the smell of freshly-made ditto copies in school (anybody remember those?)

Do you apologize for everything? Nope, only if it's mine. I may say "i'm sorry that happen to you," "or sorry to hear that," though.

Has someone ever scammed you for money? only when buying a car. i hate buying cars.

Sometimes do you wish you could just fly away? absolutely, but to where?

--I don't think so. I'm the one with a touchy nose.

--I apologize when I should. When I shouldn't, I make a point of finding other words.

Has someone ever scammed you for money?
--Yes. I was a 17 y/o cashier at a K-Mart and a guy pulled a fast one on me, intentionally trying to get me to give him way too much change. It wasn't just "you gave me the wrong change," it was a whole scam he was working out, fast hands and fast words. I started to get the sense he was up to something, and slammed my drawer shut and called a superviser. He just left. My drawer was counted, I was short just $10, he was really trying to get more from me. It wasn't even my own money, but I was very angry to have been cheated and treated like an idiot. It was a good lesson for a young girl, though!

-- I never really though about flying, but sometimes I want to drive and drive until the road ends to get far away. I enjoy driving.

If you could do anything without being judged, what would it be?
-- Just be more honest/open with people. Sometimes it's about not being judged, sometimes it's about not wanting to come across as judging others.
