A horse statue my 26 year old daughter and I love so much that we share custody. I get it for Christmas, she gets it back for her birthday and so forth.

Jodi, that is a GREAT option. Never thought of sharing like that. But then I would prefer to share the grand kids. LOL

I am dog-sitting for a few days. Oski likes to sit on the bed and look out the window. I took him to the dog park this morning where he had a blast. I keep the harness on him because he's hard to catch if he doesn't want to be caught (naughty). Vetaal, what an interesting little store. Did you go in?

Socks - I stuck my nose in, yes.
It's just a convenience store of sorts - beer, snack, soda (coke mostly, of course)
and couple of flats on the second level.

Enduring mosquito bites and the heat, I was able to get really close to this hummer. Today, she was around for a long while. As I was taking photos of her, I found out that she was actually guarding "her" feeder from another hummingbird. Every time, the other hummer got near, she would chase him away. I didn't have time to grab the right lens, the external flash nor the tripod. Fortunately, the photos turned out alright.
