Is chili considered soup? It's slightly preferred over my nearly favorite, most any kind of meat in vegetable soup. Although, good chicken wild rice is probably tied with it. Actually I prefer soups to be more like a stew. Thick, so you can stand a spoon upin it, hearty, and good sized chunks. Crackers, toast or bread?

I finally accepted the idea that I should change what I can, let go of what I can't and have the true wisdom to know the difference. This new way of life has had a dramatic effect on my ability to be content and relax to enjoy happiness.

"The Wind in the Willows" has always been special for me. My absolute favourite teacher read it to us when we were in Grade 4 and it was the first book that I ever asked for as a present for Christmas. She also read us "The Water Babies" and "The Mill on the Floss".

It's beautiful here in York, Pa. The sky is a brilliant blue and not a cloud in sight. It is 75 degrees, but feels a little cooler, kinda like fall is in the air. Vique

Sunny and coolish (68) in Long island. Supposed to stay that way thru the weekend. I'm so glad, my town has a street fair with all that great carnival food-curly fries, sausage and pappers, yum!

It's 1 p.m. here in Kansas, and right around 80 degrees. Light, fluffy white clouds against a gorgeously blue sky. It's gorgeous.
