Where is Nita?

After all the traveling and great information she gave us, wonder if she has "retired"

Nita is back in AZ--planning their next big adventure.

Stan and I really enjoyed our visit with Nita, Mike and Timm. They are the nicest people you could ever meet!

i just talked to her thursday night..she is at home, reading and swimming in her pool. she's planning a trip to texas beginning of december to have work done on their motorhome. :)

I guess you are on the road or probably home by now!LOL I knew Mike was tired.It really tires Darrell out to drive.I feel guilty sometimes because he has to do all the driving.Glad he got some rest. Man,we should have followed you to Odessa! I have been wanting Red Lobster.LOL We came home and Darrell took a little nap,then about 8 we both asked one another at the same time,"Are you hungry?" LOL So we went back to Herman's and ate.I had the Fajita special.It was good but Red Lobster would have been better! We really enjoyed the visit and definitely want to do it again.We need to seriously plan on the Balloon Festival.

They are in Traverse City, MI right now, and after spending several more days in Michigan, they will be spending time in Minnesota before starting the trip home. They will get back to AZ on July 30. They have had an awesome trip, and DH and I were thrilled that they were here with us for several days (and cousin Timm also). They are truly some of the nicest people on earth!

The first time a KTer (Kathy_VA, who no longer posts here) was coming to our home, DH was horrified--the old "axe murderer" mentality. He made it clear that he would be in another part of the house. Yeah, right. He realized how nice she was, and we didn't have two minutes alone. After that, the Welcome mat was out for KTers. We've also had visits from Marsha_OK, Linda_in_Iowa, Nita and Bobby, Teresa, Ang, and two ladies from Our Humble Home. All have been super, and are welcome for a return visit. Stan bonded with Bobby (Nita's grandson, who was about 10 at the time), and they had a great time. As others have said, Nita is the nicest person on the planet. I wish I could travel all over, and I'd visit every KTer! They are the greatest!

Thanks for thinking of me Marie. When we got home and got the things out of the motor home that I needed I had my cleaning lady do a thorough cleaning of our home away from home. I clean every week but we had lived in it almost 5 months with three cats so it really needed a deep cleaning.

It is now in Tucson getting things repaired and ready for our future trips. We will be heading out for Texas mid November to visit folks from the forums and also to have Thanksgiving dinner with our Goddaughter and her family that just returned from Germany after a 3 year tour of duty there.

After Thanksgiving we will be just outside of Ft. Worth for a couple of weeks having the flooring ripped out and having wood floors put in. It will make cleaning so much easier and it will look beautiful too.

Other than that I have been bored, bored, bored. Reading mostly everyday and have been going into the pool for a swim in the late afternoon.

I am planning our trips for next year, don't want Mike to get too comfy here at home. LOL
