Being as the Olympics begin, and would like to share pics of my trip. Would U like to see some?

Not trying to be pushy, but it was a lifetime experience.

If you mean by peace maker, giving in and ending a stand off and if standing your ground results in the same behavior my daughter tried on me when she was 3 years old to get out of trouble (and it didn't work!), those are not very good options to choose from. I'm voting for 'cutting your losses'. In fact, you aren't just cutting YOUR losses, your cutting your son's losses because as much as you might love this woman, she is poison to your child. (and your relationship to him) Anyone that thinks the way to resolve their problems at age 27 is to put a pillow over their ears or hold you on the ground and change your mind with kisses or sex, does not have the skills for an adult relationship. Too bad you didn't see it sooner, but really... people don't usually change and you can try to stay as long as you can put up with it, but eventually you will 'escape' and by then, how much damage will it have done to your son? Will he be able to forgive you if your relationship with him is destroyed or damaged? Would it be worth it? R*U*N Vbunch R*U*N*!!!!

Oh, Arcy. Would you tell a friend to her face that the work that her daughter is doing, (not assignment) is the dumbest thing ever? I want to believe that you wouldn't. Sure, you have a right to your opinion, but it seems more and more often that you give it in such hurtful ways. I just don't get it--I've seen you be kind and supportive in the past. I can only speak for myself when I say this pandemic has, almost daily, brought out the worst in me. I'm scared for my parents' health, and those in my community. And add to that the uncertainty, my possible permanent loss of job, and the thought of sending my my son back to college in less than a month in a spiking state. It's a black hole and will only get larger if I give into it. I'm trying to not do that. I hope you're well.

OK - where are they??

Now I'm curious too. Do you have photos of a trip to China or did you attend the Olympics? If the latter - what city were they held in? Since I doubt I'll ever visit China or the Olympics (unless they're held in Philadelphia) I'd love to see your photos.

No no olympics, just was gonna show my China trip pics :o) from when I was there years ago. No olympics though!
