Is Anyone Still Watching Big Brother?

Since I don't have much of a choice of channels and shows to watch Big Brother is one I do like to watch. Is anyone else still watching it?

F, if one of the vets win the game, then I won't feel sorry for the newbies. I hate saying this, but the newbies are one of THE most stupidiest bunch that ever played! They decided on the first day when they found out some vets would be returning, that the newbies would immediately form their own alliance against the vets. They had the numbers then. Within a week all the newbies started jumping through hoops for the vets! lol Kalia had a chance to get rid of a vet, but she chickened out so none of them would be mad at her. Huh? And don't get me started on Lawon evicting himself! Tomorrow night they should show a big fight with Shelly in the middle. Do you all read any recaps? They're addicting!

I look forward to Thursday night and LOST all week. But I think they better give me some answers soon because I am getting really frustrated. The episode where Desmond jumps between 2 time periods was really stretching it. And that wasn't even a flash forward or backward. My son announced after that show aired that he was afraid LOST had "jumped the shark" If you're unfamiliar with that phrase, here's how Wikipedia describes it......"The term jumping the shark alludes to a specific scene in a 1977 episode of the TV series Happy Days when the popular character Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli literally jumps over a shark while water skiing. The scene was so preposterous that many believed it to be an ill-conceived attempt at reviving the declining ratings of the flagging show. Since then, the phrase has become a colloquialism used by U.S. TV critics and fans to denote the point at which the characters or plot of a TV series veer into a ridiculous, out-of-the-ordinary storyline. Such a show is typically deemed to have passed its peak. Once a show has "jumped the shark" fans sense a noticeable decline in quality or feel the show has undergone too many changes to retain its original charm" I don't think Lost has gone that far, but I am a little worried. We tape LOST while we watch it because my son works Thursday nights. So I watch it again on Friday when he's home and it helps me follow along.

I liked the first group better. Don't like several of the people in the second group. My initial impression of Zach is that he sounds like a real jerk. Marilyn, the biggest news from last night was more information about the HOH and the houseguests nominated. There's going to be 2 HOH, each who will nominate 2 for eviction - putting 4 in danger of going home. There will then be a Battle of the Block where the 2 compete against the other 2. I believe that the 2 who win means that the HOH who nominated them is then no longer an HOH which puts that person in jeopardy also, but I'm not clear if that's an automatic thing or if they can choose the other HOH to step down.

I have been watching since the day BB premiered and I follow the live feed posts at TV Clubhouse. I feel the same as you all and I too was surprised at the disclaimer they showed this week. Aaryn is a mean girl all the way. I know she apologized to Candace but it wasn't real or genuine and to use the excuse "I am from the South, I don't mean what I say" bs.... I wish Howard did not lie to Helen and it may come back to haunt him. My favourite players are Amanda and McRae and Andy- he reminds me of a bunny rabbit for some reason. I wish I was a fly on the wall when the mean players are done with the show and get to watch themselves in the game. I was so looking forward to this season and sitting on my couch and following the happenings in the house on the internet because so much more goes on behind the scenes than what they show on tv. With this By-Election I am working on I am missing the shows on tv and have to watch the next day online.

I've never watched big brother.

I did see an ad for Survivor, and there are a couple of celebrities (?) on it. I just noticed the one commercial
and "Blair" from The Facts of Life is going to
be on it.

I had been getting a little bored with it this season...UNTIL last night!! WOW way to go Dan, but poor Danielle. It sure helped Dan's plan that Boogie commented to Frank about not trusting Ian. Brittany really hasn't done much so I would not be sad to see her go. I think it will be smart if Frank takes Dan to the finals. Dan won't get much sympathy being that he has already won once before, but last night's performance is worthy of something lol

Susan, I too watch the After Dark and enjoy the uncensored viewing.

I had to watch it after midnight because our stupid local channel had football on. I really don't like Dan now and hope he goes next. I always liked Britney. I think she's pretty inside and out. Now I want Ian to win.

ok.the contestants were left hanging...only 2 dropped off before the show ended...

won't spoil, but will say the new hoh is...a former hoh...

I'd also like to see Ian win, the past two shows were great. Dan's mind is very creative and I give him his props BUT Ian is a good contender if he steps up. I missed the two best shows as I was away but caught up with them online. CBS shows them free online.
