I wish I could help but I have no clue what is going on.I missed the last seasons but have been watching this season.
I sit in my easy chair for two hours (tonight it was only one) and I wonder why I keep watching a show I do not understand but it is intriguing. You might go to the ABC Lost website which pictures the characters and information on them. Also alot of people bloging on different opinions of what is going on.
So we are not the only ones that don't understand the plot.

What you're watching is flash forward. So, Sun got off the Island and gave birth to a girl. Jin did not survive. When they speak of the Oceanic Six, they mean only 6 made it off the Island. Had Sun remained on the Island, she would not have survived the pregnancy because the baby was conceived on the Island.

Jin was the guy with the panda. His was a flashback to when he and Sun first got married. Sun's was a flash forward.

I believe that Jin is still alive on the island and the gravesite was for appearance sake. They have made comments that the others are still on the island but they have to keep everything secret from the world. The date on the headstone was the day of the plane crash. The baby was conceived on the island and Sun had to get off before her 3rd trimester.

Hope this helps. I love LOST and now I am sad that we have to wait till the end of April for more episodes.

I turned it off last time. It is just so confusing and I'm sick of trying to explain anything to Main Man who can't hear. While I'm answering "Whats that...or What did he say?" I miss the next scene and I'm LOST.

Then "Who's Michael?" He doesn't remember.....I digress.

I look forward to Thursday night and LOST all week. But I think they better give me some answers soon because I am getting really frustrated. The episode where Desmond jumps between 2 time periods was really stretching it. And that wasn't even a flash forward or backward. My son announced after that show aired that he was afraid LOST had "jumped the shark"

I don't think Lost has gone that far, but I am a little worried.

We tape LOST while we watch it because my son works Thursday nights. So I watch it again on Friday when he's home and it helps me follow along.

I'm getting pretty confused by it all, but it's so fascinating to see what will happen next, whether I understand it or not, so I'm hooked! Started watching it on the ABC website, due to some other committments on Thursday nights, and I almost like it better on my computer - several very, very short commercials for one thing. Ok, I have a question - last weeks episode where Sun and Jin's baby is born, if Jin's scene was a flashback, and Sun's was a flashforward, and Jin didn't survive getting off the island, why did Sun keep wanting them to wait for Jin to arrive at the hospital before her baby was born? She even thought she saw him in the hallway, but it was just someone who looked a little like him - ???? They sure like to play their little games with us, don't they! So, the Oceanic 6 are Hurley, Kate, Jack, Sun and ??? (Still need to watch the March 20 episode - then there's no more until April?)

Hope someone can answer my question. Who are the good guys?

Anyone remember "the shower scene from Dallas"??? I think the same writers are now working on Lost. Sorry but they have gone here, there and everywhere with this show...should have stuck with the elusive dinousaur creature theory...more fun and easier to follow.

And Aaron, Claire's baby. I think maybe Sun was just saying his name out of pain and worry? Who knows!

PT...I think the good guys are the oceanic survivors...but then again...maybe there are NO good guys or bad guys...depending on how you look at it! Locke...to me is playing a bad guy now cause if he go's back, he'll be crippled so he wants to STAY on the island...so he's almost holding people hostage!

LOST is supposed to make us think -- like a big puzzle we're trying to solve with a few more pieces given each week.

I love stories/shows/movies that don't just hand everything to you on a plate. I loved "The Sixth Sense" and "Memento," with flash-backs and scenes out of sequence to keep my mind working.

Re-watching LOST episodes helps lessen my confusion somewhat. With a wireless connection it's easy to see them again on the ABC website:
