I got a new job--first in 10 years!

I've been teaching high school special education for the last 10 years--which has been my whole career! I was offered a job as a consulting teacher for special education and I took it. I'll be working in my husband's building, but it's a further commute for me (DH works for the school system in IT). Unfortunately, in this time of financial strain and gas prices, we cannot commute together, as we work different hours and I need to get home to Brody. I think I'm really going to like this job. I will be helping special ed teachers do their jobs better. I am going to miss the kids terribly. I think they will be pretty upset when they find I am not returning. I start Monday--and I'm actually excited for school to start this year since I won't be in one! thanks for letting me share my news here :)

Homolite super wiz 66 and XL12 I don't use them any more nothing wrong with both saws there in dry storage drain all fluid out put away fire wood saws. I purchase 038 stilh in 1986 have never saw saw out cut it has 18 inch bar but do keep scary sharpe. I still think new shape 2 bars 8 chains one gas tank new fuelline in 1999 in 2000 I cut very large oaks was 42 cords in 2 trees and limbs one 57 at stump one 53 at stump felling only time use dogs help with cut I'm butt about my saw use only my mix gas my saws the 038 never had to clean carburator I take parts brush and clean around caps before take them off the brush round one.

I just posted about doing a circular garden, and then found this post. So inspirational! I am going to show these photos to DH, as they capture the Spirit I was going for. We even have some flagstones that got left behind at this house. Your photos made me think of a quick glimpse I had of a photo of a garden at the Kripalu Yoga Center. Susan, if your email carrier has Houzz marked as SPAM then you won't get anything from HOUZZ, including anything that goes thru their server.... like your seed requests. Have you check your carrier? I know I was surprised to find that mine was just throwing mail away with out notifying me. I changed that so they hold them for me to look at and dicard. I check everyday to see what they've decide is SPAM and there is alwys at least one thing that isn't.

Each screen can be different and call your eyes away from the road for too long, to look at the screen and to tap the virtual button just so, and heaven forbid it is cold and you have driving gloves on. In my car, I have to press a virtual button to change the screen just to see IF the AC is on, That is bad UI. (reminds me of the oven in our last house. No ”Off” switch or button, but a button that read ”Cancel”. Definitely designed by an engineer with no GUI training. Also the panel was completely symmetrical, which in that particular case meant that the button placement was illogical. But it looked nice, I guess.)

Thank you all so much. You are the most supportive and kind group of people--it's fun to share good news with you! Brody's doing well--still not rolling over or even giving it a go. He's a little sloth. :)

Hey Joanna-
Congrats on the new job!

Brody's a cutie, he looks like your DH. I love the captions too! Naked Nap time! lol I can't believe he's 14+ pounds already! Katie is so little-I worry she's not gaining enough.

Katie rolls over, but she spends a lot of time on her tummy, so she has a crazy strong neck. Olivia was about 4-5 months when she did it.

Hope your job is great!! We still need to get together sometime!
