It will only be one scene. Ann Margaret is in it and I don't know his name but he is Tom Hanks son.

Ann Margaret has got to be getting old. Wonder if she looks it.

Colin Hanks, from Tom's first marriage. He was in the 2005 version of King Kong. AM must be around 70. I'd love to see what she looks like. She was in an episode of Touched by an Angel years ago. Haven't seen her since.

Had you already seen this movie...or did you watch it last night. I see it can also be watched on Hulu. I check the Lifetime movies to see what's playing...I enjoy pluggin in my ear buds and quietly listening while Denny is blaring the tv. He needs hearing aids...8)

We're Kaiser members, altho they suggest signing up with the county as well and just taking the first appt that comes up. We're both over 65 so just got our 2nd shots with Kaiser. Takes a bit of standing in line, but they're pretty efficient about it overall. No worse than waiting for a flu shot at peak times, LOL. One volunteer gives her own speech in the after-shot waiting area. I was told this but my spouse, who went on a much more crowded weekend, did NOT get told this by other volunteers working that day: SAVE THAT WHITE CARD! Even if you get a shot from Kaiser or Blue Shield (or wherever), this is a federal vaccination program. This card is the ONLY proof you will have that you have been partially/fully vaccinated. Zip, nada, nothing else. If you lose it, it CANNOT be replaced. There is no federal identification database - V-safe, the CDC's cellphone app (which is strictly voluntary sign-up), only tracks side effects per mfg type/batch # for statistical purposes. Thus, even tho we got our shots through Kaiser (showing our membership cards etc.) our assigned GPs were not involved nor aware of our vaccinations. Due to HIPAA regulations and the fact this is a federal program, Kaiser cannot issue any card replacement for its members. I would assume it is the same for any Blue Shield recipients, et. al. The volunteer suggested taking a photo of front and back of the card with your cellphone camera, so it's easily accessible. She keeps her card with her passport, in a safe place. I thought this was useful info, so hope it's of help to others.

Tom Hanks son is Colin Hanks, and he is a great actor. I just watched the movie Untraceable and couldn't figure out who the actor was - he seemed so familiar. Well it was Colin Hanks and the familiarity was from being Tom Hanks son. They have a great deal of similarities, yet are very different.

Wasn't Ann Margret in Grumpy Old Men? She looked great then, but that has been a while :)

Maybe Denny will be an extra in one of these movies! Wouldn't that be fun :)

I'm wondering how she looks now, too. Yes, she was in Grumpy Old Men and she did look terrific as did Sophia Loren did in the sequel, Grumpier Old Men. Another actress who is up in the years but still beautiful is Maurene (sp?) O'Hara.
Pattico, does Denny come in contact with the movie people? My late son, Brian was an extra in Runaway Train with Jon Voight & Eric Roberts. Brian said Jon would sit down with the extras and chat between scenes but Eric acted like he couldn't be bothered with the "little people" I would love to have a chance to be an extra in a movie. Patti, maybe Denny will be discovered. Wouldn't that be great. You'd be married to a 'STAR'.
Last time I saw AM she still looked great.

I just read Ann-Margret is 68 (born in April 1941) Married 42 years, to Roger Smith (since May 1967).

Yes he comes in contact with them...He met a lot of them from the first movie but they were all unknown. I guess the "star" of the first one, stars in a lot of horror movies.

Denny also had a movie filmed on board his ship when he was in the navy. John Wayne,Kirk Douglas, Burgess Meridith(sp?) were in that one. While he was eating lunch, Kirk Douglas and Burgess M. came in and sat down at his table with him to have lunch. He said they were real friendly. The big guy ate with the captain. Denny said he really was a "big guy".

Denny also used to go to church at the same church Roy Rogers went to. He said they were a super nice family.(that was also when he was in Navy.

And he had a speaking part in the movie on his ship. Of course you didn't get to see him. He was in charge of shooting the big guns. The movie was "In Harms Way"

I bet she looks better than most 68-year-old women! She was at Northwestern with one of my childhood friends -- another beautiful 'daughter of Ole' -- and *she* is still beautiful, with high cheekbones and dimples.
