I went to Indiana...and came home to this!!

I went to Indiana on the 18th of July for a driving vacation with my sister...We had a ball...but I was a day late arriving home and look what I missed!!

His name is Triston Riley Alexander..born July 29th...23 days early...hence my reason for missing the birth...they did fine without me here and my son and his wife are overjoyed and grandma even more so!!

Not sure but could be INCA APOTHECARY. And as for the other one, possibly BLACK FALCON RITUAL or it could have been STEALTH BOMBER before I moved it to the back garden. From the position of the bed in the photos, I have mostly Curt's in that area. Space is nice but I have to keep reminding myself that the more gardens you add, the more weeding and maintaining you have to do. I may have to hire help this year and I think the question I'll ask each potential hire is "do you like to weed". We hit zero degrees on Tuesday night. Snow on the ground here and I just try to keep myself busy with other projects otherwise I start to get anxious about gardening LOL. Woke up this morning to no electric and the house was down to 57 degrees with outside temp at 7 degrees. All is good now and the furnace is trying to get the temp back up inside.Thank goodness the sun is shining bright :) I haven't finished organizing photos as I had hoped. Perhaps in another week . Yeah I think that member was from Sweden. The photos are under orchid growing areas in the Gallery section and they are the last set on the first page, a set of four terrariums side by side. The enclosures are not very large once you know the scale although some members have huge orchidariums. I just can't believe how professional the cylinder type terrariums came out and from such simple materials anyone can get at a Home Depot! I am going to leave this project for the fall or winter but I am seriously considering building something that can be automated with misters etc. for times when I am away, mounted plants don't like vacations. :( If you build it yourself it costs much less, had a medium sized one years ago but did not keep it when I moved because it was built too heavy and bulky and was not properly sealed to be water tight. I was picturing a dark counter with those choices, adn I agree with the others that if you change the paint color to a green with some gray softness to it, I think it will go well with everything. I like the vinyl. My parents have actual slate tiles that look just like that in their kitchen. I think the vinyl would be better in some respects -- the look is good, but the uneven and very porous floor is not what they or I would have picked. On the granite, some folks don't like AB becuase it shows water spots, crumbs, etc. far more when it doesn't have color variation -- especially in a polished surface. I had one cabinet person tell me they had picked black granite for their own kitchen and hated it. The uba tuba would be more forgiving in that regard, and most of what I have seen installed comes off looking mostly black or near black when installed. The green cast you might pick up and some touches of gold might look very good with the flooring. I'd at least look at a sample in your kitchen before you rule it out.

he weighed 5lb 8 oz and 18 inches long...he's little...just like his Mommy and Daddy!!

He weighed the same as Alyssa and she was a month and one day early. I don't recall how long she was. I see a lot of happy times ahead!

Aw, I can tell he's already melted your heart. I like his name. I guess because he's so bundled up, he looks bigger than his size. Glad they live close enough so you can spoil him rotten! Enjoy every minute.

I have read that the last month of pregnancy, a baby puts on 1/2 pound a week, so do the math. He sure has chubby cheeks!

He got to come home with Mommy and Daddy on Tuesday morning...they don't keep them very long nowdays...He's doing great!

This was at dinner last night...celebrating my son's 21st birthday!!
