Fish soup. Never had it or made it before. Found a recipe on Cooks.com and am making an attempt with a few changes.

Our usual Sunday night fine dining is Digiorno pizza and beer; however we had company at noon today so tonight will be leftovers. The leftovers are steak, corn on the cob, fresh strawberries, homemade cracked wheat bread and pound cake with raspberries and ice cream.

Since I had such a big dinner at noon, this evening it was cheese omelet, toast, grape tomatoes, and a piece of the Pineapple Cherry Glory pie. The pie was good, but would cut back on the sugar the next time I make it. I only brought home two pieces of it and husband ate the one piece. I did not bring home any of the raspberry and just a few slices of the double crust banana cream pie.

Busy watching the golf tournament so we just had an easy dinner of grilled hamburgers with barbecue sauce, cole slaw and cucumber salad. We had fried egg sandwiches for breakfast so no bun with the burger.

We watched the golf tourney as well. (Yay, Adam Scott!!)
Georgy, did you hear Williams say he's had the most fun this week, than he's had in years!

I made well-done roast beef, carrots around the roast, mashed potatoes, broccoli, oriental cole-slaw. Bundt lemon cake for dessert.

Everyone's dinner sounds good tonight. I love carrots cooked with a roast. I always cook about a pound of them and there are never many left.

We hardly ever have buns with out burgers, Georgysmom. Got in that habit when Harry was doing no carb. I really prefer them without.

Wow, Hilltop. Those leftovers sound so good I'm surprised you had any! What a nice lunch that must have been!

Sue, about how much sugar will you add next time to the pineapple cherry pie? I have that on my "to try" list.

Kath, let us know how the soup turns out. I like fish but I've never had it in soup--except for some really rich chowders.

Shirley, as usual your dinner sounds good. I love green beans and potatoes cooked together.

Glenda, have fun at your luncheon tomorrow. It's been a while since you've mentioned your get togethers. Maybe you took a few months off for vacations. Be sure to let us know if you bring home any new recipes.

Patti, I think a half cup or maybe less. You could taste the filling and decide for yourself. For me it was just too much sweet with the crushed pineapple and the cherries having sugar in them.

Jasdip...ditto...YEAH Adam Scott. I hope he continues to win! I was thinking today, wouldn't it be interesting sometime down the road if Adam Scott and Tiger Woods were in the final pairing.

Kath, I looked at the fish soup recipes at cooks.com. Some of them sounded good--all of them sounded easy! And had stuff I ususally have in the pantry.
