Weird trespassing lady

A lady around the corner, who I would say is in her early 60's, has been coming onto my property in the last few weeks with her young grandson. I saw her two weeks ago, but by the time I got outside she was down the street. Today I went out to the garage to see what the dogs were barking at, and she had opened the gate that we have across the garage door to keep the dogs secured, and was IN the garage reaching for them! She was saying that she was going to "pet the dogs" or "get the dogs" or something like that. I was speechless because nothing like that ever happens here.

She froze right away, but didn't look at me and then she high tailed it out of here. My dogs are small, but they are not friendly and they bark like crazy.. no stranger in their right mind would think they would want to be petted or approached. And last week there was an incident here where I knew that someone had been in my fenced in back yard, and in my greenhouse as well, and now I realize it was probably her that time as well. My neighbour just told me that she saw her another day too.

This is a little freaky, because she has lived here for years and has never done anything like this before, but I don't think she was caring for a child that motivated her to get out of the house before. If I see her again, I will say something, but all three incidents occurred on a week day and I'm always at work on week days- I was on vacation the first time and just happened to be off today.

Obviously, I have to lock those gates, which is a pain, but she's "off" and it bothers me that she keeps coming here. It also bothers me that she's caring for a young child (approx 3 or 4), and I may call children's protective services to do an assessment.
