It was weird, I wrote to Tamara this morning and she wrote a little while later, saying that I was able to post, and the techies were working on it.

Robert and I were talking recently about something we both knew we 'probably' couldn't do anymore, at least not without some old fashioned studying. Pass a written Driver's test! Something we were watching on the news triggered the conversation. I think that I would do better than he would, though...don't tell him I said so.

Well, when we were walking, I got to thinking about hand signals. I don't even know if they still teach them or if anyone would remember what they meant. LOL but that's not really a task.

Do kids still have to learn the multiplication tables? I sure HOPE so. Boy, they were drummed into our heads...what grade would that have been? I never had kids of my own, so I am totally out of touch with what they might be learning, or not learning.

I am sorta thinking it has to do with math...if we had not just started playing cards again(or any games) I would be more rusty than i am today.

I am thinking it has to do with math too and it's fractions. I tutored 5th graders after school about 4 years ago and they were doing fractions and then algebra.
I laugh because I think I coined the phrase "Are you Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" I had to spend a weekend getting utored before I could tutor. And that's the 'twooth."
