Tv women's costumes

I have noticed for the past decade how short, plunging and tight almost every woman's costume is on tv shows these days. (Everyone but nuns.) Young women are learning that dressing professionally means dressing like a trollop.

Recently, I see women in shows with pretty, but tight dresses. They turn around, and you see a shiny silver exposed zipper running the length of the back. It must be a wardrobe mistress' trick to make these dresses skin tight, just rip open the back, trim out the ease in the fit and add a cheap zipper. I don't know why they don't at least make a placket for the zipper or use a plastic zipper the same color as the dress. It makes what is supposed to look like an expensive outfit seem cheap and cheaply constructed. I guess that goes along with dressing in skin tight skimpy clothing at the office.

Today I was watching a TIVO of Covert Affairs, but I also noticed this recently on Suits, among others.
