I read this on the internet the other day. A mom was having trouble potty training her soon to be 3 yo. son and they had made a quick stop at a Taco Bell for lunch when the mom detected an odor. She first checked her baby and it's diaper was fine so she asked the boy if he had had an accident and the boy said no. She continued to eat and kept smelling poop and asked him again if he had an accident and he again said no. She began to get angry as she did not have a change of clothes for him and asked again if he had an accident and the boy got up, pulled his pants down, pointed his butt at his mom, and said see, no poop, it's farts, it's just farts! Everyone in the place about fell off thier chairs laughing their heads off. Jamie

I love it! They'll choose your nursing home someday. I used that line with my husband last January. DD's dog (we got her when DD was 16 months old) had a stroke. I was $pending quite a bit at the vet and a lot of my time on this dog. My husband made a comment about the futility of trying to save this dog............... I informed him "Gretchen is DD's dog. DD will be choosing your nursing home. How BRAVE do YOU feel?" I never heard another peep out of him............ BTW, Gretchen recovered 95% & is still with us!

The girls stayed in the delivery room when Layla was born. While I was pregnant they asked tons of questions so we educated them on pregnancy and how the baby developes inside the womb. They are the only five year olds I have heard tell people "Mommy has a baby in her womb" instead of saying tummy. LOL. We watched birth videos on you tube and the works. I think they could of DELIVERED Layla if it came down to it. The were very interested in every thing including how the baby got there in the first place (we just played dumb and changed the subject on that one:) So anyway, now it's go time and I'm in labor and delivery and we gave the girls the option to stay and watch or leave with my dad. Wild horses couldn't of drug those kids away I tell you. When Layla came out the girls let out a prefectly in unison "AWWWWWWWW". When the placenta came out there was an equally perfectly in unison "EWWWWWWW". HAHAHA. The fact that cartoons were blasting while I was pushing out a kid was also hillarious. It is an experience I will never forget. I can't tell you how pleased I am they share their experience with everyone....right down to the fact that I pooped myself while pushing. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Good times.

This made me chuckle out loud. Hope she remembers to retell it year after year so that it won't be lost in memory.
