Patti45, I went over to the CF to see and read. That is like the recipe I posted a while back except this one takes two eggs, which makes the rising crust.

I have a few blueberries left and I'm going to use this recipe and see which I like best.
I enjoyed reading the replies over there.

Shelley, doesn't the house smell good? Ours is half gone--good thing it's not really big! I like the crunchy taste the cinnamon sugar gives to the top.

Do I remove the skins (peaches) for this recipe, and not knowing what a springform is, what kind of pan can I use?

Yes, you remove the skin. Read the link, it's long, 150 responses.

One person said they used a tart pan, another a 9 by 13 pan and another said a 9 inch cake pan.

Trin, I didn't remove the skins from mine. Next time though, I'll make larger slices so the fruit will sink down into the batter more. I'm not sure a 9x13" pan would work. There isn't a lot of dough, as you can tell by the recipe. Maybe an 8x8" or 9x9". The pictures on the Cooking Forum are just beautiful. Mine turned out pretty, but not nearly anything like some of theirs.

Hey Trin, if you get to this one on that thread it will REALLY CONFUSE YOU :O)

I don't like cake in pie tins, but that may just be my thing. I would bake it in a square pan to give away. 8 inch or 9 inch would do it. A ten inch springform has area of pi(r)squared doesn't it? Sorry, I don't know how to type mathematical symbols. The radius on a 10 inch pan is 5 inches, and pi is 3.25 something or other, so that's roughtly 75+ square inches. An 8 inch square pan is 64 square inches and a 9 inch is 81. 7x11 inch is 77, which might be good if they sell those.

I made this yesterday, it was great! We had 2 other couples in for supper. I made it with fresh peaches, strawberries and blueberries. I served it warm with ice cream and everyone loved it. I have more company coming next weekend, I think I will make another 1 or 2.

I made this again today. The peaches were huge, so I just used 2 and a few blueberries scattered in. I used a 10" tart pan and it fits just fine. This time I left off the cinnamon and used turbinado sugar. It's cooling now, can't wait have a slice. Just remember to adjust your oven for a dark pan.

I saw it over at the CF and had to try it. I made mine with fresh peaches and it was so good. DS asked where it all went because it was gone in less than 2 days! LOL He said next time make it with the new apples that are just coming in. Or maybe I will use small individual tart pans and make them with all kinds of different fruit.

Won't be long before apple season is here. I just don't think you could do anything to this recipe to ruin it. It's flat delicious!

This is so good I have made it 3 times. First with raspberries and the other 2 with peaches and blueberries.
All were very tasty but I liked raspberries the best. The third time I tried it with less butter and it was okay. I have warmed up for breakfast also as I think it kind of tastes like a coffecake.
