1. Set up your private account with a free photo hosting site(like photo bucket or webshots) 2. Load your pictures to your photo site. 3. To post on GW, under each photo are several web addy's...the HTML is the one you need copy and paste straight in with your written GW post. You can paste several photo's by repeating these steps. This does require you have two explorer windows open at the same time. One with free photo account and one for GW if you post multiple photo's

Okay .. I have tried it and so far .. I am Really impressed! I took screen shots of the two pages that you get after uploading your photo. I am not sure how this will display on here because as I said, these are screen shots plus the two shots are hosted on photobucket because I'm still messing around with 'how' to do stuff with the new site. What is Really impressive is that even though I did sign up for an account .. I wasn't signed in to do this. You only need an account if you want control over your pictures. (You might want to use your magnification to see details) JM

well darn I posted a reply but it apparently disappeared into the nether land. I did go to the site and read all the info I could find, I like that it does sound like it is private and only those you share a direct link with can view it. The things that caused me a little concern was the very sparse and strangely worded terms of service. Also they say they DO allow adult content which is very strange all other hosting sites prohibit it strongly. Also some of the grammar and spelling is very poor which suggest a site outside of the US which can be ok but normally on this type of site you would at least want a polished appearance. I am willing to try it out though. I still prefer imageshack over all but I don't upload a lot of pics.

They changed their policies two years ago in June, 2017. nicole, that's what I did to get my photos back. It was time consuming but it worked. Photobucket really did not handle that change well. They gave their customers very short notice, held their photos hostage and initially were going to charge $60 - $400 per year (depending on how much space each user was using). In response to the uproar...*ahem*, I mean, all of the negative feedback from their customers, a year ago they reduced their pricing to $53.90 to $129 per year depending on the size of account one wants. They also offer a free account with a storage limit of 250 photos/2.5GB I get that they are a business and they want to make money, but that was not the way to spring it on people. I no longer trust other hosting sites not to turn around and do the same thing, so I just keep my photos on a flash drive which has been backed up as well. If I want to share with family/friends I post to Instagram.
