How do I get an email addy?

For the TV network, Bravo. I would like to express how appalled I am that they are having Michelle Salahi on their Real Housewives series, this time of DC. She was on the View, this morning, (I know, I know, some of you hate this show, but my post isn't about The View) when the women tried to ask this bimbo about crashing the White House party, she hemmed and hawed, then said it was all a misunderstanding, and she has a book coming out that will explain everything. (Yeah, like theres a chance in he!! I would spend my hard-earned money to buy her book) I have absolutely no time for a network that would reward someone for this bad behavior and who has obviously so little regard or respect for this country to pull a stunt like she & her husband did. Go to: www.BravoTV.com/contact

(the Salahis are publicity hounds of the worst type and pretty much criminals in my book: they owe many people a LOT of money and have tried to bankroll their lifestyle on the good names and reputations of other people and foundations [through their "polo" charity matches and other charity events]
so many people in the D.C. area despise them and wish they would move elsewhere--we in the D.C. area already have problems with our reputation, politically!

i watch the NJ and Orange County housewives--D.C. is not on my tivo!

Here's a contact form page for Bravo.

    Give 'em hail Dotmom! :)

Hi Lisa! Why not change your email addy with GW? Did you try and have problems? If so, I can likely help with getting it changed. It is sure confusing to have one email shown when you post, and then another in your replies...I usually go to the member's page and get the email addy from there...well from the form if I click to send an email via GW, and then mail from my Hotmail. I'll be in and out today...Give me a holler if you'd like me to try and help. I 'owe' you some emails too...have not forgotten you...lol Sue

Thank you Bambi too but I knew I needed to contact Jason. I used to have his e-mail addy!!! Ed, thanks but this is crazy. I was looking to upload a photo of Moving All Over. If I put the breeder ( Stamile ) and the year ( 2001) it will show it in the TG Database but if I put the name in the quick search bar, it isn't there! Weird huh! I though I would tell Jason since I uploaded 2 or 3 hundred photos and this was the only one that was this way! However, I did upload one that was wrong and when I tried to change it, it still used the same photo. See why I need to talk with Jason. How is your garden growing, my friend???? Ellie

You've probably already figured this out by now, but if not, here's what you need to do. Click on "Member Pages" down at the bottom of the page. You may have to log in again, but maybe not. Once there you will see a link to edit your member preferences. That's where to change your e-mail addy. Once you're satisfied with your changes, click the submit button, and you're all done.

You can have your email enabled in your My Page page, so that people can click on your name, and then will be able to email you directly. You must do the following four things; if you didn't do even one of the 4, your email won't show up in your My Page page: At the bottom of the Kitchens Forum page, click where it says "Member Services". Then click where it says "Edit your Personal Information, Page and Preferences". Then, log in, and do the following: 1) Type in your email address in both boxes. 2) Near the bottom of that same page, there is a pull-down menu for "Show my email address to", that gives you the option of "None" or "Members" or "All". Click on "Members", and make sure "Members" stays in that view box. 3) Where it says "allow other users to send you email via forms at our site", click on that box (a check appears). AND 4) Click on the box that says "Save your Member Profile". Again, if you omitted any ONE of the above steps, your email option will not appear on your page.

I will never watch that show...or any Bravo show, because the Salahis are scum.

They live down the street from me, and the landscaper who took them to court is our landscaper and friend. They refused to pay him, and when he took them to court, they offered a $150,000 watch in payment--the watch was a fake AND was broken! They are not popular in this area.

I even expected to see them trying to sneak in to Chelsea's wedding.

Ya know Dotmom, I am going to send my thoughts in as well. Thanks! Anyone who is tired of folks who behave badly getting rewarded for that behaviour should do so!

I agree with the opinions on the Salahis and voicing objections to them being on a show, but shouldn't any other show who caters to these people also be given the opinion and objection? If the shows didn't put people like this on there, they'd lose the notoriety they desire so much. I don't think any show should air them. But the shows put them on because people will watch and simply put if people tune off they won't be back.

There's a number of people who will make me turn the channel. The Salahis are in that group. I don't care if they could tell me the cure for cancer, I'd turn them off. The cure wouldn't work anyway, I'm quite sure.

A book???? Watch for it at the 99 cent store.

One week the View has the President, the next week, that silly woman.

I don't know anything about them other than they got in the White House dinner BUT, how are they criminals for that?

They passed several , several security checkpoints, had their picture taken and according to them, they had an invitation. Their name MUST have been on the list or how in the world could they have gotten in the dinner.

They had no ill intent and didn't try to "sneak in". They were allowed in.

They may be scum but in this particular instance I don't see how they are at fault. If anybody is, it's the people running the show at the White House.

Thanks friends, for letting me rant and i'll sent Bravo my opinions, not that it will do any good, but I'll feel better if I try. I have watched the "Housewives" series, the OC, NY, Atlanta, and a little of the NJ, but no way in heck will I tune in to watch the group from DC.

Magic: They NEVER had an invitation for the dinner. "They weren't invited," a White House official clearly stated afterward during damage control.

They schmoozed some people beforehand because they wanted to get to the White House, and they succeeded in finding somebody that would get them into a pre-dinner "arrival reception" only. They got past several layers of security because officers and Secret Service were sloppy.

There's also the feeling that this couple was confused with someone else with a similar-sounding first name as the husband's.

They knew they weren't invited; they even tried the old "we forgot our invitation!" line. They knew they were being filmed for the Bravo series even then. (And come on--what's more criminal than being "aspiring TV reality stars"?

Here's a Washington Post article that fleshes everything out. It's long, but if you want the most complete explanation, here it is. (Oh, but if you don't trust the media, especially the oh-so-liberal Post, then by all means, don't read it. God knows, the Post loves a good Salahi story.)

(And White House social secretary Desiree Rogers kindly left after this debacle, and three officers were placed on leave during the investigation, so yes, it was a royal screw-up by the White House, too.)

The "criminal" description I believe they deserve is for screwing people out of a lot of money. They have been named in several lawsuits. (Sorry, 'innocent until proven guilty,' well, I'm sure they're crossing their fingers.) Do a web search and you'll learn about all of that, too. The watch incident and quite a bit more (their polo match on the grounds of D.C.'s Mall--a U.S.-India match with players from PAKISTAN representing India!--is one of my favorites.)

    Oh my!

I saw them on the today show with KLG and Hoda (on the internet) and they were talking about the View and apparently there was words with Whoopie backstage.

It seems to me that there was just a misunderstanding because Whoopie came out and grabbed her arm and said she should talk about the White House.Whoopie should not have done that IMO, the woman was a guest, not a host. Someone told Whoopie that Michelle said Whoopie hit her and all Heck broke loose. So of course I had to watch the view and they did a whole thing on what happened too.

Did anyone see it? What did you think?

The other Housewives of DC really hate this woman.

As do most DC insiders, Magic. The Salahis are users and they should not be rewarded for such actions. I hope that everyone that feels this way contacts Bravo and lets them know.

I saw the View this morning, and Whoopie said, that after the show the Salahi beotch complained that Whoopie hit her, so they played the film from yesterdays show and it showed plainly that the woman was not hit. Then after the show the Salahi woman lit into Whoopie and Whoopie let her have it with some very salty language, then the S. woman's husband texted or something like that and tried to take Whoopie on. He got a dose of Whoopie's colorful take on things. My isn't this a classy couple. I emailed Bravo and told them what I thought and that they were really scrapping the bottom of the barrel for scum people like the Salahis woman to be on their housewives series. I don't suppose it will do any good, but I tried.

I am not defending her but to be fair, she DID NOT go after Whoopie, Whoopie went after her.

"When Wednesday's broadcast was over, Goldberg said, "I was told that she thought I hit her. So I went up to her and I told her that she KNEW I didn't hit her. And yeah, you know how I said it: choice words."

Hearing this, the studio audience at "The View" burst into cheers and applause.

"And I make no apology for my choice words," she added.

Then Salahi's husband, Tareq, had begun filming the squabble with his cell phone, Goldberg said.

"Needless to say, I really went off, then. And there was even more, choicer words. I mean, they were so choice you could have cut 'em with a knife and eaten them." `

Whoopie was told by a third party that Salahi said that she hit her. If you watch the clip of the view, Salahi said "I felt someone touch my arm".

Good for Whoopi for giving her "What Far".

A local show couldn't resist it and showed the clip of Whoopi walking up and touching the "thing". (Don't know if Whoopi will need shots or just antiseptic but I digress.) I was reaching for the remote control and it was over but you could see Whoopi say something and that was it.

Salutti or whatever her name is, claims there was backstage attacks and that they have video that they "might" release. All I can say is "whoopie". Release the video and let's see it if it happened. Care to bet on if it'll ever be released?

Those people rate nearly with telemarketers on the scum chart. And they're double deckers, not only scum but scam too. Hopefully they won't have any non-fatal heart attacks, strokes or something similar in the near future.

Did you not read my post above?

Whoopie ADMITS she went off on her and she also says that Salahi's husband filmed her going off on his cell phone. So yeah, Salahi is telling the truth and there is video.

I get that folks don't like these people but the truth is the truth no matter how you twist it.

Well, THANK YOU, Magic az, for the correction! One thing to remember, Whoopie is a star on the View, and in my opinion, has every right to approach a guest. When she came on stage to ask that they get to the subject of crashing the White House party, I have to admit the subject they were on, was pretty interesting. It was one of the other DC housewives telling how Salahi's husband threw a drink on her at a gathering after a taping. Sounds like Those two are two of a kind, and not a very classy kind.

Can't you folks find something more useful to do with your time?

Every day that passes brings you one day closer to when they put you into that box, after you've put your last thought into words, should you have chosen to do so.

    o j

    Red wine no less!

I thought Whoopie should have let them finish too. I feel like the woman of the View were a little unfair to her and kind of set her up.

Oh, boo hoo, in my opinion, and maybe the opinion of the View gals, she got what she deserved.

Just because you don't like someone doesn't give you the right to set them up or be disrepectful. Especially when you invited them to be on your show.

IMO, Whoopie looks like an #$$ for what she did and the way she acted.

And your welcome for the correction. If your gonna dis somebody for something at least get your facts straight. It sounds like this woman has enough problems without people making stuff up that's just not true.

Well, Magic guess we'll have to agree to disagree. As you said,,,Did you read my post, above? I ask, did you read some of the posts, above, from people who live in the area of this woman and her husband, and do know about her? You have every right to place your sympathies where you wish, but I'll save mine for someone I deem more fitting.

Magic: You wrote "get your facts straight"?

Then follow your own advice and set the facts out correctly when you post. Your earlier posting on the confrontation said Whoopi grabbed Salahi's arm. That was wrong. And you wrote that even while stating that you saw the video replay of it? You saw with your own two eyes that Whoopi gently touched her on her back to get her attention when she walked up behind her. There was no arm-grabbing. There was no disrespect. Only a talk-show host trying to move things along.

And I'm glad that Whoopi unleashed at her afterwards. Anybody who is lying about you deserves to be called out face-to-face. Who here would not confront someone who is lying about your actions? And especially when you know that the only motive is to stir the pot more, to gain more attention?

Whoopi showed no disrespect to this woman on the show.

The View is what it is--it is an opinionated talk show, just like so many others on TV. They have had people on the show whose politics they don't agree with or who have done things they don't agree with. Many people. And many heated disagreements. They have questions firmly established before the guests come out and want to ask them. It's their show. I guess you don't watch any of the late-night talk shows, either, because of their "disrespect"?

(And once the Salahis settle all of their nearly dozen civil suits against them--many for unpaid bills--then we can talk about giving them some respect. If you lived in the D.C. area, you'd have a more-rounded view of them, but I know that that's not Bravo's goal.)

"Then follow your own advice and set the facts out correctly when you post. Your earlier posting on the confrontation said Whoopi grabbed Salahi's arm. That was wrong. I never said I saw her grab her arm. I said I saw them on the today show and that is what they were saying happened, Koda and KLG, and that is why I watched the view. I also never said "I saw with my own two eyes Whoopie gently touch her on the back". Just never said it. What I did say is that on the clip you can hear Salahi say "I felt someone touch my arm". She did not say Whoopie hit her.

I am not sympathetic to this woman I just think in this instance she is being unfairly accused and I still think Whoopie was wrong in this particular instance.

I am done with this conversation. I am not the bad guy here I was just stating an opinion on what I did see and what Whoopie actually admitted to.I never said Salahi was Mother Theresa or she is a wonderful person. Obviously she is not well liked by any of the other women either but I don't think it's fair to bash her for something that she didn't do. Seems like she HAS done o lot of things that are bash worthy all on her own.
