Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I had a really great day. They raised $10,000 for the shelter and I'm sure they'll wind up with lots of donations of goods because it was made known what the shelter needs in every day necessities. The weather was kind enough to co-operate so that was a great plus. My team didn't win....we were unfortunately in the first flight and competing against some pretty low handicaps. However, we all played well enough to enjoy ourselves. I always say, I just want to play good enough to enjoy myself, winning is just frosting on the cake. In this case, the prizes were minimal. The idea was to give as much to the shelter as possible which is as it should be. I did, however, win a door prize. A one month free membership to a local gym. It is the one prize I was hoping for so that made me happy. I gave it to DH. Sure hope he uses it. This has been a really great birthday. Yesterday some friends took me out to lunch and we went to the movies afterwards to see The Help. Great acting. The movie was 2 1/2 hours long and when it was over, you were shocked to see how late it was, so I can safely say it didn't drag. Tomorrow I was suppose to go to my favorite restaurant with DH for dinner but I think Irene will be putting a squash to that. Oh well, like Glenda, I'll just keep on celebrating. There's still a few days left in the month!

Happy Birthday sweetie!! Mom sorry but it goes down hill from here before you realize it you will be shedding tears like me when she goes off to college! Hugs and Daughter love your momma hug her.....when you leave it will be hard on her and it goes soooo much faster then you think.....Stacy
