Diane - Too funny. Yeh, me too! Dawn - You are not alone with your selection since they had almost nothing left in my size when I ordered. I also got the camo with orange strap, plus one more that isn't any better. I had looked almost as soon as Diane posted the link, but didn't see the promotion. By the time I got there they were just about sold out in my size. I have a couple of el-cheapo brand that I wear in the garden all of the time. I said that I would NEVER wear those ugly shoes, but after I had a broken foot and no longer needed the boot, I still had to wear a lace up brace. I could wear two pairs of shoes. My athletic shoe would go on but just barely, and wasn't terribly comfy over that brace. The old fake crocs were so wide that I could slide them right on. LOL I have a narrow foot so they hardly touch my feet anywhere but on bottom anyway. I have a pair of Speedo slip-on sandals that I wear constantly at home. They are about 4 years old and I have bought two pair since then trying to get one as comfortable as this pair, but none of them are. When I put on this kind of shoe, I always think of my youngest daughter. When she was a teen-ager, she looked at my feet one day and said, "Mom, those shoes must be really comfortable." I said, "They really are. Why?" She answered, "Well otherwise you wouldn't wear them because they are sure ugly." She was right. Jay - You will have to look beyond the shoes at the Spring Fling because our feet may all look alike. LOL By the way, I have adopted the name you gave it. "Spring Fling" has a nice ring. LOL

slahgirl, Crocs are not a bandwagon "fad". They are sensible shoes with an intense following. People said the same about Earth shoes way back in the 70's. I still buy and wear them today, and they have a very loyal following with many. Sure they are not for everybody and they are not for wearing for all occassions. (Although my friend Kay joked about wearing the white Crocs under her wedding dress so her feet won't hurt from standing all day.) As far as leaving smudgy footprints inside of the shoes goes, I've seen that with many brands of shoes and is not indicitive of Crocs, but of sloppy hygiene and inattentive maintanance of the shoes by the wearer.

I wear almost nothing but Crocs and the Payless knock-offs. The Payless ones are comfy. The other knock-offs are not, and are just plastic shoes, nothing more. I buy my Crocs in two sizes. One size for wearing with socks. The other size for barefeet and working in garden. Crocs are actually quite warm to wear outside in winter since they are foam plastic they are insulated. I buy the ones without the holes for winter so socks don't get wet from shnow and slush. Salt stains wash right off. I buy the red, black, navy and bronze colors for winter wear. I have the flip flops and the "original" style Croc. The MaryJane ones never fit my feet right and seemed to buckle and flop around when walking when I tried them in the store. They have Crocs with 2" heels. There is also a line of "dressy" Crocs with even higher heels, called You. Also check out the CrocsRx on their website. I read your posting in the Kitchen forum and all of the answers and not surprised that your head is not spinning. I am strong proponent of Grohe but read a lot of forums and discussion rooms daily and the bottom line is the warranty and plenty of people gave you that answer. Moen is an excellent mid quality company and they back it up with action so if you like the fixture and it fits your budget clear the fog that people have laid out though well meaning and buy the one you found at Lowes. As an aside I checked a couple of web sites for online suppliers that I trust and neither carry that fixture so my guess is that it is a special model made for LOwes or that market which does not make it a bad thing.
