I do, too. Did someone scare her enough to chase her off? Her posts on the girls were so joyful to read.

I think several people advised her to delete all the posts about the situation and to not post any more - I'm sure she's corresponding with some on this forum - maybe they will at least let us know how things are with the family.

I, too, miss her posts. I was hoping she would come back under another name.

I can see where someone on the board might recognize who she was if they lived in the same town and told the girls' grandmother about it and she would see what was going on. That's too bad, because Fireman's Wife was so happy with every little thing the girls did and passing it along to her friends on the board. I hope at sometime in the future she will be able to post again.

I miss her posts too but I have to admit if she kept the names of the kids and the birthmother when she talked of her new family, there could be problems develop. It sounded like things were getting a bit on the messy side with the birthmother coming back in the picture so I sure hope things are okay.

Hope all is well. Hope Diane the FW herself will come out of the woodwork once in a while. We don't need details, names, places,etc, just a brief hello we're okay sort of message.

I miss her, too. It made my day happier knowing those children and she and her DH were doing so well. Maybe she can come back with a new identity. Hope you read this FW and know you're missed.

I also was wondering about her updates suddenly stopped. I wish her and her family well. I really don't understand the ins and outs of why her posts have stopped.

I miss the daily updates too, but I was very worried about the detailed info that could get into the wrong hands.

Her posts have not been deleted, so what is "out there" is still out there.

I don't think there was anything FW posted that wasn't already known by the family members.

I do think she may have tired of being inundated with such suggestions as getting a dog.. a big dog or a vicious dog. I believe she said they have a dog. Or motion lights. or many other completely unnecessary things, that I can't remember now. I felt she and her DH were using common sense and logic, which they seem to have.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the girls and how their lives were made happier.

I don't blame her for not posting and having to read all those dire warnings over and over.

I think her life should be private. Beyond sharing her news and how happy she is, maybe with an occasional brief update, that should be it. Even though we all feel we "know" her at least a bit and wish her well with all our hearts, her life's details do not belong here. The girls deserve that privacy also, and pictures should never be posted. My 2 cents.

I pretty well agree with you sue_va (as usual).

I see her last post was a week ago, so maybe she will stop by and give us a little weekly update about the fun new things they did this past week. FMW seems to have a never ending supply of good ideas for fun things to do and making things so special for them all.

Perhaps she has been advised by professionals not to post right now. I do hope she contacts someone she "knows and trusts" here with just a general update and that all is well. I wish her and her family the best.

I miss her, too. But, I know she is checking in each day to see what we are all doing. Keep on sending her wonderful wishes and loads of love. She and fireman are such terrific people. Those little girls are so lucky to have them.. Their lives will be filled with things they could only imagine... I know the Good Lord above is watching over them..

Joann, we are only surmising why we aren't seeing any posts - maybe the woman is just busy. She needs prayers and warm wishes right now, as she is going through a new experience - I am sure she will be back when the time is right.

FW, know that we are still here, loving you and DH and those precious little girls. We would welcome ANY WORD on how everyone is doing.

I think she should have been able to do as "She Darn Well Pleased"...without a bunch of busybodies telling her how to run her business.

I agree Pattico! I'm sure the things she was posting here were already known by the family.And,if anyone wanted to "find" them it would be very easy! I too miss her reports.Those little girls are very lucky!

Sorry sue va..I didn't get the feeling from FW's posts that she was being bothered by the very well intentioned suggestions people at this kitchen Table offered. I got the distinct impression she was thankful for the suggestions and she knew we had the best interests of herself and family at heart.
