My guess is...peek at naughty sites. (and I'm NOT speaking from experience.) LOL

I meant involuntarily eat, as in when you're asleep, or at least not already in the food. But it's seven spiders, not two. Better than a dozen! I have looked it up as how I know seven spiders. Voluntarily eat, you don't wanna know how many bugs you eat per year. Ick

Yup....agreeing with red and it was a no-brainer for me (former military). The stripes were set up as alternating colors (red/white) to represent the original 13 colonies. The flag has always been red/white/blue. I'd have to go back and look up flag history to confirm when the 13 stripes became the flag base but it's been around for at least 100 years....maybe early 1900s.

Ok, here's my real answer (I'd think that WAY more than 24% of people curse at their computer, and you said laptops, differentiating from desktops).

How about hook up a separate monitor?

Take it to bed with them? I have a laptop but I'm not speaking from experience, just guessing that some people sit in bed and play with the computer. Me, I leave mine on the floor and Georgy walks all over it. It's not looking too good. So, I'll also guess leave it laying around on the floor.

Georgysmom, you must do what 24% of us do.

Take our laptops to bed with us, is the answer yesterday.
I don't put mine on anything soft. It either sits on a coffee table, or on a cutting board when I have it in my lap. (Also on a cooling fan.)
