Heck I love going to stores and looking for things...people or me can't find and since I get to so many states......for me I want the lotion by Yardley of London in Lavender! Not the soap does not smell the same just the lotion.....For Sydney THE FAMOUS BETTER CHEDDERS got that request last night.......still can't find them....For dylan it is that body sprae by AXE.....can't remember the hame but if I see the can I can call and find out seems the can has blue and white something about ice in the name....hmmm My poor Tannner he hasn'nt found a love he has lost yet LOL Stacy

I was buying whatever I could get the cheapest - with sales and coupons I could pick up name brands for $1 or often less. I never used to have a problem with any brands I've tried but just this past year or so I've come across at least one variety that makes my armpits itch terribly. I haven't been able to pinpoint which ingredient yet and I don't remember what brand it was. I think it's something new - like the anti-stubble ingredient they're putting in ladies anti-perspirant. I would try plain something basic and fragrance-free without anything 'new and improved'.

My parents always had Tussy. Very distinctive fragrance.

Tussy Roll On is my favorite too. The only place I can find it is the Family Dollar store. It is a dollar, can't beat that price. I found it online at Amazon and this site, but it is a lot more expensive.

I itch and break out horribly from most deoderants. I used to use only Almay unscented--I think it was hypoallergenic. That got really hard to find so I started using Ban unscented and that works just fine too. I can't use any other kind unscented or not.

I have this very same problem. I can only use a clear roll on, anything else, especially those solid white will break me out in a heart beat. I use Mitchum clear roll on. I have debated contacting "dove" because I use so many of their other products without problems and they claim to have sensitive skin products, but I still break out with their deoderant. I never use a scented one at all.

I use Lavilin. You apply it once a week and it kills the bacteria. I love it. It kills the odor and doesn't leave a white residue. You have to purchase it at a health food store or internet.

I know what you mean. Everytime I find a deoderant that doesn't make me break out, they seem to discontinue it within the month!

Used Secret Unscented original stick for years. It got pretty sparse for a couple of years, but there were still a few stores where I could get it. Now? No one has it. All you can find is the invisible stuff. I can't go near that--makes me break out bigtime.

So I tried Sure Original Unscented--that was fine. Until it, too, disappeared from the store shelves. Lately, I've been using my husband's unscented Right Guard--it doesn't bother me.

Everyone's sensitivities are different -- as you can see from the responses here. I can't use a lot of supposedly 'hypoallergenic' products--get terrible allergic reactions from them. Thing is, you're probably going to have to do your own research to find another product you can use comfortably, if you can no longer get your usual deoderant. I'd suggest buying some of the travel sized versions, so you don't get stuck with a lot of full-sized, unuseable products. Good luck--as I say, I know how frustrating it is to be loyal to a brand that up and disappears.

Dial Unscented! I have had to changhe deodorants every couple of years for years, until I started using this. I have used this the longest.

Dove for Sensitive Skin - recommended by DH's dermatologist and the only thing he can use. Same problem of itching and soreness also.

I was going to suggest Dove plain too.

Try Tom's of Maine Natural Deodorant stick. I've been using them for years (love the Calendula scent).

I use Tom's of Maine and the Almay. I can also use Ban unsented, but prefer the Almay.

I use Naturally Fresh deodorant crystal roll-on. it is hypoallergenic, paraben/PG free,no aluminum chlorohydrate and fragrance free. It come in a bottle with a blue top and a pink ribbon sticker on it. Like the breast cancer ribbons. I get it a Wal~Mart. Only thing I have found so far that does make me itch, even Tom's of Maine made me itch.
Nothing worst than going around itching your arm pits like a monkey. LOL

I use Dove. I used Mitchums for a while, but it gave me cyst-type lumps that eventually went away after stopping it. When I was younger (like a teenager) I used Secret cream.
