Thanks everyone! Krista Marie, isn't it funny how colors can look so different once you get them home? We got lucky with the color we used for the interior of the hutch. It's called agave and it matches the curtains in the dining room / kitchen pretty darn good. Anneliese, I'm not going to be doing any more painting for a LONG time. Sorry. LOL Steve S., he did help, a lot. He installed the new lights and he helped with the painting too. And if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have been able to get those glass shelves back in tonight. It's a 2 person job! West Gardener, we have started a registry at Bed Bath and Beyond, but we are not registering for china. I have my grandmother's china, so it will be going in the cabinet, along with some Federal Moonglow I have and some milk glass pieces that i love. I'm about to post a few pictures of the update from today. lol My grandmother's china won't go in until at least this weekend. It's been packed up since 1986 and needs washed. But I've got the moonglow and the milk glass in it now. It looks LOVELY! if I do say so myself. :-)

Is the leak in a horizontal line? If so, he probably he cannot get it to seal because of residual water. Standard advice is to put a piece of soft white bread in the line. The idea is that the bread keeps water away from the joint, allowing a good seal. Afterwards, the bread can dissolve to not cause any problems from being in the line. I have what I think is a better (but closely related) approach. I spoon a bunch of flour into the line. I then shove a pile of it an inch or so up the line with a dowel close to the same diameter of the pipe. The flour has the same effect as the bread, but it does not have to "dissolve," as it is already a fine powder.

Frost last weekend ...in the mid 90's for the last four days here and I HATE it. Can't walk the dogs, can't do anything and are in a drought while the rest of the country has floods. Have a bedroom unit in, but we are converting to gas furnace and central AC this week so sweating now. Bring on fall.

10:30pm here and still 94*! Took DGS to the movies this afternoon and my car thermometer read 119* when we got out. It then cooled down to 107*. Triple digits are forecast for the next 5 days. We live in southwest corner of Utah, just 2hours from Las Vegas. Kids started school 2 weeks ago and school busses are not air conditioned, HOT! HOT! HOT!!
