Anyone have experience with Lyme Disease?

As I mentioned here, I pulled a deer tick off me a couple of weeks ago. I'm on antibiotics (amoxicillin) as a precautionary measure, and I'm getting tested (titer, I assume) next week.

Thiis is not the first time I've been through this, but it's the first time I have reason to suspect I may have picked up Lyme. Remember that weird fever I had at the beginning of June? I never got any of the usual associated symptoms, like upper respiratory stuff, or vomiting or diarrhea. Just fever and a lot of sweating, and difficulty digesting food. Unexplained fever is a symptom of Lyme. So is sweating. Ditto the stomach problem.

Things haven't been quite the same since then. The fever is long gone, thank goodness, but I still wake up sweating once in a while. Not drenched, as I was back then, but any kind of night sweat is not normal for me. My sleep pattern is still out of whack, too. Another Lyme symptom is waking often and/or waking early, and I've had that ever since I had the fever. Very annoying!

I've had other Lyme symptoms in the past month, too--some of them specific to Lyme and others that overlap with fibromyalgia. The latter clouds the issue.

I've been reading up on Lyme, and learned that it's hard to get a definitive diagnosis because of the tendency of the tests to produce false readings. Have any of you had to deal with this problem?
