I could use some help

Hi all. I am not sure what I did (if anything) but when I click on a link on GW I don't get directed to the link. I go nowhere! I hate missing anything and want to see everything so I really want those links to work. What could I have done and how do I fix it?? Sure hope someone can help. Satine

one thing you can try is to clear the cache, cookies and history of your browser. You don't mention which browser you use. The link below will give instructions for most of the browsers just go to the one you are using and follow the instructions.

If you want several more opinions, please post some pictures ;-) Where do you live? What kind of grass do you have? How are you watering (how often and for how long)? When were the last two times you fertilized and what did you use? Does your lawn service fertilize for you? Do you know if they use a liquid or a granular fertilizer?

This is what I do all day long at my job. It would be so much easier if the file size was larger. If your sister did the original drawing then somewhere the original file exists. That would speed things up, otherwise I may enlarge your image and because it is so grainy, what I draw may not match your original art. It looks like a vector graphic that she may have drawn in Adobe Illustrator (a big graphics program), a vector image can be stretched to any size without getting grainy. So if she knows where that file is it would be all that you need.

Do you know what browser you are using?

Do you have a second browser on your computer? If so, have you tried the second browser?

just took the puter in 2weeks ago and already is changing on it's own! best buy guy had set it to open on yahoo, now all of a sudden on google...trying to use them less since i out found out they're inter connected with the Koch brothers!!!

I can't get the links to work, either, and I get a message to the effect that a pop-up has been blocked. I think this has something to do with when the Best Buy "Geek Squad" guy worked on my computer last week. He did clear out my history, cookies, etc.

Same for me, but only on my Kindle Fire. I can't open anything on it all of a sudden. Everything is working on my regular computer.

I was using my iPad. Links that wouldn't work yesterday, work today without me changing anything on my iPad.

I am having the same issue in Chrome.
I have to click on the link numerous times and then it will open...three or 4 times. My cache has been cleaning and my browsing history. I have disabled my pop up blocker for this site and it still continues.
I also cannot open a new tab with the scroll on my mouse. I can on other sites tho.
This all just started this morning.

since so many people have the same problems it seems like a problem with GW. For those that can please use the contact us link at the bottom and report it.
I have not experienced it, but I have been using my Android tablet, with Firefox browser.

I would also suggest that you try a different browser to see if the problem persist on a variety of browsers.

What happens when you right click on the link and choose open in new tab or new window. Anything? Can you hilight the link and copy then paste it into a new tab and open it that way, or can you not even copy it?

If a computer doesn't work after the Geek Squad at Best Buy works on it, I wouldn't be surprised. Hubby took his pc there a couple years ago because it suddenly started acting up (I was out of town), and they told him it had over 1,000 viruses on it and wanted several hundred dollars to "clean it." When he called me and told me, I told him to get the pc back from them ASAP. It didn't have any viruses on it at all. The video card had died. Put a new one in and all was well. I do not trust the Best Buy Geek Squad.

Lately I can't open links in posts either and get that "pop-up was blocked" message. Right clicking to "temporarily allow pop-ups" doesn't solve the problem either. This only happens here, not at other forums who are not on Gardenweb.

If I right click & select "Open link in new window) it works. I'm on Chrome.
