I have to log in everytime I come here. Have I forgotten and it has always been this way? How do I stay logged in?

When you log in next time, there's a box right below the log in that asked if you want your log in to be remembered (or something like that). Click it and you should be good to go.

debi, that hasn't worked for me for months. I keep checking the box, but still have to log in each time I return. Someone suggested because I have Adblock enabled that it may be causing the problem, but I'm not sure how.

Sounds like you're not logged in. Or possibly you are logged in on some other account that is not in your fb friend list. On top right of of facebook page, home drop down arrow show? logoff. Then close your browser & run somethin like CCleaner.com to clear your web pages & cookies. Then.... What happens if you type in www.facebook.com ? you might want to bookmark that page

You have to make your choice regarding cookies before running the cleanup tool. Open CC>Click on Tools>Cookies and move those you wish to save to the right pane. Then run the cleanup tool. Though it is not as important as it use to be, when is the last time you checked the H/D for errors? Defragged? If it has been a considerable time this might help. Do these tasks after CCleaner DA

I log out whenever I leave ANY website, and log back in when I return. That may not always be necessary when not on a public computer (where it's always suggested to be done), but that's what I do. Everyone has their own habits, do what you like but there's no reason to fear doing something a bit differently. I have Firefox set on my PCs to clear everything when closed, so that's daily. I suggest that people use passwords that are easy and short for risk-less sign-ons, so then it only takes a few moments to enter them. What's a risk-less signon? My drinking water provider, i don't think anyone would bother to break-in and change my delivery order. Or, this site. I think it's unlikely anyone would want to try to break in and pretend they're me! And if that were to happen, I'd come back with another name and let you all know I'd done that.

I don't think it is adblock, I use it and it's no problem. Do you have something that cleans out your cookies/cache? If you do, it is getting rid of the cookie you need to stay signed in. You can download CCleaner, it has an option to save your garden web cookie so you don't have to sign in all the time.

Sorry I didn't get back to thank you right away. I have checked the box and it hasn't worked. I'll try the cccleaner and see what that does. Not an earth shattering problem, but an annoying one. Thanks for the help.
