I have an Asperger's grandson. When he was very young, he became attached to a piece of green flannelette. As he grew, that piece became smaller and smaller until almost gone. They were visiting one time and his mother asked if I might have something to replace it with. But it had to be that specific shade of green. Well, the stars were in our side because I had a good sized piece exactly the right shade.. He is now 24 and I am not sure if he still has a piece in his pocket for comfort. Probably. So I think your little minky blankies will be comfort for a long time. Theresa

Yes I have had to decide between doing business with someone who has personal beliefs that I cannot abide or refusing the work. When their beliefs infringe upon the rights of others I have to decline the work. (Person belongs to the KKK) When their beliefs are personal and have no impact on the rights of others I would not decline the work (Person is a Wiccan). In your case, the venue owner may be controversial, but the couple who rented this venue are the ones who are doing business with the vendor. Not you. You are there exclusively to support your florist friend and create something beautiful for the couple. Your labor, talent, and time are not an endorsement or a donation to the venue owner.
