Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts

concerning my Mom's passing.

We are trying to get life back to somewhat of a "normalcy".

(Is that a word?LOL)

So sorry it took me a while to get this message on here. I really just didn't even want to talk to anyone. Even my cell phone minutes have gotten a break this week(LOL) because I don't want to talk about it. Yet, I am not in denial. It just took a toll on all of us girls and I guess I need to recuperate a little.:)

I do appreciate all the thoughts and prayers and the private emails of support.

As someone recently mentioned to me, time heals. So I will be around a little more as time goes on.

It's completely understandable Nancy, pulling in to lick your wounds. I'm the same way. You've gone thru a really tough time and it'll take a while to get over the shock of it. I hope that the sad times fade away really fast and you find some peace and start to remember just the good times with your sweet Mom.

nan_ar, I lost my Dad last Oct. 28/07. I suppose time does heal, however, not just yet.

You take all the time you need and just know we are here any time you are ready. I too just lost my Mom a month ago today. I like to think she is with my Dad and telling him all about his grandsons.
She still loves you - I believe that.

Ditto what everyone else said. Take things at your own pace, and be prepared it will be hard sometimes.

We are here for you for virtual hugs, a space to vent, whatever you need. Hugs.

I lost my Dad 31 years ago and lost Mom 13 years ago. The pain eventually hurts less, but you never stop missing them. Hugs to you Nan.
