I had philodendron very similar to this but my grew as a vine, these varieties I believe grow more upright than other philodendrons. The one i had got massive and thats no understatement. It was about 9 feet across and had monsterous leaves. a few of which reached almost 2 feet in length! I ended up trading to a friend who ran a houseplants shop. When she saw it she said she has never seen one so large. Maybe I have an incorrect ID on it. We just assumed that it started as a cutting from a moon glow phil. because the upright form can only be propagated by tissue culture I think. Great plant! I loved mine. They grow very easy and are not too picky. Steve

The beast answer found but I feel I have seen multiple Pics vs multiple links as I have used from Photobucket. Now the question is were those Pics merged into one and posted. They did not appear to be as I can merge in Word and my email. I'll find one of the post in question and ask the person that sent the post. For now I understand!! Attaching a photograph: This forum supports the ability to attach one single photograph per post. The photograph must be 60K or smaller (which can be rather small unless it is a close up). You can also provide pictures by using a photohosting site like Photobucket, Flikr, Picasa, ImageShack, Webshots, Shutterfly, SmugMug, Snapfish, etc. These sites usually let you create a free account and upload full sized pictures. Once your photo (or photos) is uploaded, you will be given a link to share your pictures with others. Copy that link and paste it in the body of your message. You can have multiple links if you have multiple pictures. If you want to attach a picture here (60K or smaller), first compose your message and then select "preview message". On the next screen you will see a preview of your message and a box that says Image file to upload (optional): Choose the "browse" button to find the picture on your computer (or thumb drive). Select it and attach it. Preview your message once more and then select "submit". If you need to attach another picture, you will need to create a new post. If you want to practice, find the "Test" forum in the list of all forums.

I also use Photobucket. It's easy and free. Once you've uploaded your pics you want to click the box under the one(s) you want to post. Then scroll to the bottom of the page. On the lower right side there's a box "generate HTML and IMG code" Click that and a new page with several boxes of text will come up. KitchenKelly, have you seen the WinterSowing forum here on GW? Its a fun way to garden through the winter (although mine is short in GA!). I only found it this winter so i am not an expert but their FAQ page is very informative and the people on that forum are really nice and helpful. Basically, you sow seeds (they have long lists of seeds that are suitable for wintersowing) and leave them outside (covered) in the depth of winter, and they germinate nice and early and with a really good rate. There are amazing photos over there of whole flower beds that have come from wintersown seeds. I have several pots of perennial seedlings ready to plant out! I used to live in Rochester MN.
