Another update on Kasey

Okay of course it is going slower then what the dhs lady told us friday but....good news still....they ended up telling lee he didn't need to show today that way DHS and the DA presented their case to the judge showed all the pics etc.....they filed a protective order against lee and are going to serve him tomorrow. Then tomorrow the sheriffs dept are taking kaseys statement and by tomorrow afternoon they will have a warrant for his arrest...I forgot to ask her all the charges they are going to file for sure..but will ask her when she calls me after she talks to the sheriffs tomorrow...continue good thoughts and keep praying a bed opens in rehab asap.....she has never ever gone this far before maybe just maybe keep praying plz!

Praying Kasey doesn't give in.

Really hope she can move on and get the help she needs.

The only life those kids have ever known is now totally different. It will be an adjustment for them. It won't be long before they sense the calm around them and see a big difference in their mommy. All you can do Stacy is encourage her that she is doing the right thing and support her...the rest is up to her. God Bless her for taking this first step. Remind her how much strength that took.

How tragic, Stacy. Will you be going to the court, too? I hope that Lee doesn't know where Stacy is. I do imagine that her parental rights will soon be terminated, as well, and I'm so, so sorry for you and the children. But - as you know, Kasey has chosen this lifestyle for herself. I'm not saying she's a bad person. She's made bad decisions and her children have suffered for it. I hope that they're doing as well as can be expected in foster care. I applaud you for your "tough love" when she didn't come home (to your home) the other night. You stood up against enabling her; good for you. Keep us posted; we're pulling for you. Suzieque

I found the wood tv stand I am considering on Kaiyo, a used furnitre site but it seems pretty legit…its $288. plus $99. for delivery but for furniture order of $350+…so i found a picture i like 28x33 in size…for arounf $100. to get my order eligible to ship…so for both its still cheaper than i can find the tv console new for $745. on the fence whether to place the order or not!! Anyone ever order from Kaiyo?

Another heptacodium update!

Another update! The pictura below was taken from the front porch this morning. The surviving parts of the heptacodium tree started blooming fairly well beginning yesterday. Now we just need some monarch butterflies to drop by on their migration - but we haven't seen many butterflies so far this year so I suspect we are in for another poor monarch year. Last year was very bad too :-( (Something odd has happened to the software to download pictures from to camera - amongst other things I can't figure out how to rotate this a bit so the arbour is properly standing up straight in the photo!)

She needs all the courage and support she can find. She's been tied to that bum for so long, so doesn't know top from bottom any more.

I so pray she has the determination to stick it out this time.

I am hoping she does I think the whole wide world is saying prayers......she told me again today mom I am doing it this time (course how many times int he last 12 yrs have I heard this) but never has she gone this far...I am so proud of her......I pray that rehab bed gets open sooo soon becuz that will just makeher taht much stronger!!!! Thanks again everyone.....when I find out the charges for sure I will post them! Stacy
