Good Friday morning all, What a week! Two Mondays - two Fridays!! I really dislike a holiday in the middle of the week. Next year I will have to pay more attention and book off! Maddie, I did not watch the concert for Diana but I watched the interview with her two boys beforehand. I find them interesting and really feel for the fishbowl they live in - like their mother. I don't know what it was about Diana but I found her very interesting and could never understand what she saw in dorky Charles. She has two handsome boys though and I believe she was a good mother. What a life to live in a fishbowl for all of them. The weather here is awful. Humid and hot and my animals are all miserable. The biting flies are so bad that they cannot stand being out in the pasture for more than 20 minutes - they come galloping in because the bugs are so bad. I wonder how I ended up in the bug Mecca of the universe. The horse flies, deer flies and barn flies are horrible this year as are the mosquitos and gnats! Even early morning the gnats are so bad they can't stand it. So now they are standing in front of thier fans where they will stay all day. Poor things are so bitten up and itchy that they just hand me thier heads to help scratch thier ears. UGH Dee, only four ribs.........I could not resist! Sounds like you did well for yourself. Donna, good for you for joining WW. I joined WW on line and it's a good program. Now for some reason I can't use the program at home where I really need it. My computer won't let me download the most recent version of Flash which is required to use the point counter!! I have to try to figure this out over the weekend. QOD: What are you all doing this weekend? Saturday is my 17th anniversary and DH and I will be going out to dinner somewhere.

Good Morning: Dee, DH and I saw Gene Pitney a few years back in a small night club in NH. We went with a bunch of family members and had so much fun singing along to all the oldies! He put on a great show. We also have been to a Hot Air Balloon festival several times (in Gilmanton Iron Works, NH, Suzanne are you familiar with it?) and every time but once they were unable to fly either because the wind conditions or whatever were not right. They did fill them up so you could view them on the ground but it was a little disappointing, so I hope yours goes well. It will be fun to be part of it though. Have a great weekend! Martha's Vineyard was great. BJ, so many questions you asked. We only went for the day. It is about a 2 hour ride from here to the ferry in Falmouth, MA and then about a 45 minute ride on the ferry out to the island. We had a great time. Did a little shopping, ate too much food. There is an Italian restaurant there that we love so ofcourse I had fettucini alfredo, (and I blew off WW this morning). The other couple that came with us have not been to MV in about 25 years, so it was fun to be with them. We are making arrangements to take our boats out there next summer for a week. Suzanne, I'm glad that you are doing well. I am sorry about your DH. What is it about people (and I don't want to say it is just men, because women do it too) that feel they need to kick you when you are down? I laughed out loud on your current reading selection. It is not a book that I am familiar with, but I am sure my sister has read it! DS and fiance have found an apartment and will probably be moving in a couple of weeks. I am very happy for them and I think it is a great idea that they live together before the wedding next year, but my emotions are on a roller coaster right now. I just keep thinking that this is it. My son is leaving and I won't see him first thing in the morning or when he comes home from work. He won't be telling me about his day every day. Am I crazy? But I am also happy because I know it is time for him to be independent and to be a man. It gets stressfull at times here because his DF is here alot and there are alot of adults in the house at one time. Raeanne, I am so happy that your situation worked out the way you intended. It is the last weekend of DH vacation and the weather is supposed to be beautiful, so I don't know what we will do. Probably some boating and fishing. Glenda this is the recipe we like and it's so easy. 1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium egg noodles 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream 1 (10 oz.)can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 1 tsp. dried dillweed 1/4 c. sliced green onion 1/4 c. sliced ripe olives (I don't use them) 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese, shredded 1 lb. frozen peeled and deveined shrimp, thawed (could use diced up cooked chicken) Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside. Combine sour cream, soup and dill in a large bowl, mixing well. Add onion, olives, 1/2 the cheese and shrimp; stir well. Stir in noodles. Spoon mixture into a lightly greased shallow 2-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Serves 6-8.

Satine, your little supper is one of my favorite snacks. Love it! I'll bet two meat loaves were awfully good....and totally different from each other. There are so many ways to make meatloaf and I can't seem to get it right, ever. :-( Lots of pancake lovers here at the kitchen table! Robert fixed a batch for us one day last week. Jas, your meatballs sound fabulous! Hoisin sauce is one of my secret ingredients in several things. I don't think that I've seen that movie; I'll have tl check it out.
