Comments (9)One of my all time favorites was from about 5 years ago. It showed a man sitting in the back seat of a moving car. The radio was playing 'Another one bites the dust' and he was rocking & rolling to the music, swaying back and forth, smiling, just rocking out! People on the sidewalk were looking at him and laughing at him uncontrollably. Then a long shot - the car he's in is a hearse in a funeral procession! Still don't know what product they were selling....See MoreSubject carried over from another post...
Comments (28)Oh my, there are some things on here that just made me realize that there ARE some words and phrases that are different. Vicki says,"I have a relative that says, MonDEE, TuesDEE, WednesDAY, ThursDAY, FriDAY, SaturDEE and SunDEE. LOL" Well, I am not your relative buy I just realized I do that. I didn't realize it until you posted. LOL Wildchild ask, "bureau, chest or dresser?" How about chester drawers...That is what I have always said, or at least it comes out that way. What I mean is chest of drawers. I don't know where I learned that from, (grandmother?) but I say it. (:-) When you have shelled the peas and are looking for the bad peas or junk in the shelled peas, my grandmother would always say, "need to eye the peas." Everything is put...put your shoes on, put the cloth back, put up the canning jars, when you get mad you can say "I wouldn't put up with his tomfoolery." LOL I was raised by my grandmother so alot of my language is from her. She was born in 1888, and her language was different than now a days. I have been told I talk like an old timer when I was a younger woman. It must be because I was raised by my DGM....See MoreDottie's 'Stuck in the Tub' story
