are morsag roses considered as baby roses,or they are roses similar to europeana roses,what are the diferences and similarities

When we bought this house the previous owner swore this was an apricot tree and the nursery label said apricot; however, this is the first year that it really had abundant fruit and it is a fight with the wildlife to harvest. The wind broke one branch and we picked the fruit even though it was not completely ripe. I used the paperbag trick to ripen. The fruit is the color of apricots and very firm even when fully ripe. The stone is like a peach but obviously it is a cling type as the fruit does not break away from the pit. We have been calling this tree a peach-cot but are still baffled. I put the fruit into boiling water - 1 row deep - and let it boil 3 or 4 minutes and immediately into ice bath. The skin still was stuck tightly to the fruit. I cooked it again after cutting the fruit off the stone. Looks like I will be making jam syrup again after I use the blender on it.
