Finished my 3rd day of pt, yea!

I had ground turkey/gravy over mashed potatoes. Also had green beans and deviled eggs. Hadn't made them in a long time and they certainly hit the spot.

patti: It's great to grab a meal out of the freezer, isn't it? No heating up the kitchen using an oven.

Supper was at the IHOP (International House of Pancakes). We had eggs *sunny side up", toast, bacon and two pancakes.

Tossed salad with salmon--and radishes, red onion, black olives, and finely minced fresh basil.

Still hot here, so not too interested in making anything elaborate. We had sausage gravy over biscuits, salad and applesauce.

Another hot day today, and I felt like a salad plate. I boiled some new potatoes and made my herb-potato salad.
Had that along with lettuce salad (carrots, tomatoes, celery), hard-cooked eggs, slices of salami and cheese.
It was really good.

I made French dressing for the first time, and it's a definite keeper. I posted it on the daily recipe thread.

A little steak, baked potato and salad.....very good.

Glenda, glad you got your Mexican "fix". How many more PT sessions?

Shirley, Harry'd be so happy if I made deviled eggs. It's just not something I think about making very often. Your turkey/gravy sounds sooo good.

Linda, I was just thinking about pancakes this afternoon. It may be our dinner tomorrow night.

Susan, that salad looks so fresh and cool. Those radishes are beautiful--did you grow them? I haven't seen any in our stores that look that good.

Jas, I saw we both started this at the same time. What are the odds of that happening? Thanks for starting it. Usually we are running errands/shopping on Friday. I looked at your salad dressing recipe and it sounds very much like one my mother made years ago, so I c/p'd it. Sure hope it is the same--no one in the family seems to have her recipe and it was so good on tomatoes.

Phyllis, have you cooled off any up there? Your dinner sounds like you're celebrating a special occasion--?? Bet it was sure good!

Thanks, Patti--I didn't grow the radishes this year. I was lucky to find a large (14 big radishes) bunch for only 69 cents at the supermarket. They're good--nice and mild, the way I like them.
