We are going to Landry's seafood tonight, really looking forward to it, love their food.
We just had a major rain storm, we were out in it and decided to come on home till it passed, get home not a drop has fallen here! A mile down the road it is pouring down.

Cloudy and muggy here, rain is on the way.

Niki's down by the farmer's mkt, and their veal cutlet was the best I have ever had, plus 7 layer salad and navy beans. DElicius!

Bought me some fresh corn to micro, husks on, for Sunday, as it looks like a rainy day, tomorrow.

Glenda, nothing better than a good veal cutlet and you already know how I feel about 7-layer salad. Wish more restaurants served it. I've been doing my corn in the microwave since I read about it on the web this spring. I was gone and can't seem to find your thread, but do you just nuke it a few minutes on a wet paper towel, let it set a couple of minutes and squeeze it out of the cob? That's the way I did it and the first one just fell right out of the cob with no silks on it whatsoever! Plus the corn was crunchy and buttery and yummy. Woohoo!

Raining again, I don't think we will get a whole week of it being dry , but we sure do need one.
I made a batch of spaghetti sauce, then eggplant parmesan which hubby loves. I had some spaghetti. For dessert I made a chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting.
Also cleaned the house.

I picked up a veggie burrito from Chipotle. Ate half and saved the other half for tomorrow night. I like to do this once a week.

Raven, we like Landry 's, too. What are your favorite items on the menu?

I just made a potato salad and will have some chicken and mozzarella sausages that Costco had a week or so ago. They sure are good...

Oops.... that corn eating guy is funny. That would just wipe out my teeth tho! And I forgot... it is Tillimock's Huckleberry Icecream time....(TO DIE FOR) desert.

Fresh raw peas which I munch on and love it at this time of year to enjoy with my suppers.

I bought lemon and garlic prawns and cooked those up and also some left over rotessiere chicken too, coleslaw.

And for dessert icecream bar, mini one.

We both had the broiled platter which is our favorite. But we got $50 free, which was really nice and I almost splurged and went for the Maine lobster but I knew it would be way too much food. The platter was too much. I am a member of their select members club which means that you get $25 free on your birthday month, they allow you to go up to 15 days past your birthday month so I just made it. We had planned to go on my birthday while we were in Galveston but we never made it. I also had another $25 free built up on my card. If you like Landrys or any of their many other restaurants that card is such a no brainer, such a great deal, check out the information on the Landrys site.
I had a thank you email from them when I got home which also let me know how many points I earned tonight and how many total I have.
