Thank You!

Sorry didn't know that chocolate was required....LOL

Here is a favorite recipe from my late MiL

CRUNCHY FUDGE SANDWICHES

1 cup butterscotch morsels

1/2 cup peanut butter

4 cups Rice Krispies

1 package (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

1 tablespoon water

1. Melt butterscotch morsels with peanut butter in heavy saucepan over very

low heat, stirring constantly until well blended. Remove from heat.( I melt this in the Microwave, 3-4 minutes on high, stir and continue another minute or so until melted)

2. Add RICE KRISPIES cereal to butterscotch mixture, stirring

until well coated. Press half of cereal mixture into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan coated with

cooking spray. Chill in refrigerator while preparing filling. Set remaining cereal

mixture aside.

3. Combine chocolate morsels, powdered sugar, butter and water. Stir over

very low heat until chocolate melts and mixture is well blended.( I do this in the microwave also) Spread over

chilled cereal mixture. Spread remaining cereal mixture evenly over top. Press

in gently. Chill. Remove from refrigerator for about 10 minutes before cutting

into squares.

~~~I usually double this recipe as everyone LOVES it and make it in a 13x9 pan.~~~
Kacee is just my sign in name, doesn't really mean anything.
Our dog is a mixed breed (shepherd and ?) that we were lucky enough to find at the shelter as a stray, she was one year old at the time, she is 2.... as of last St Patricks Day(the day we adopted her). Her name is Maci. We are so lucky to have happened into the shelter that day and found her there...she is a true joy! We had lost our dear yellow lab/golden mix, Anna about three months before just 2 days before Xmas. She was a rescue dog also.DS got her when he was in college and we sort of inherited her from him but wouldn't have had it any other way. She was a truly sweet dog also.
My music choices (more current ones) have been influenced by my kids.... DD especially, she burns CD's for the DGS's to listen to in my car and I get hooked! I will admit to downloading some Michael Jackson in the past week, DH and I have enjoyed some of his music and videos in the 70's and 80's mostly.
Looking forward to chatting~~~~~~~~~~~
