My 'back' button is on wrong side!!!

It's now on the right, how'd it get over there? Can't get used to that, how do I get it back on the left?????

what kind of machine are you using?

check for "control panel" or something, and look for the "mouse" control panel, and see what's there.

wait, never mind, maybe you don't mean the button on the mouse, but the button on the screen.

Sometimes if you click and drag on your controls, you move them around.

Hi to both Marys. Last year was my first time winter sowing. Had mixed results, but am back again this year with about 200 jugs planted thus far. Started in late Dec. and am still planting every time a trade or round robin comes in. It's not too late. Everything sprouts at it's own right time. I will start planting my annuals soon as our weather settles down abit. We are still getting snow and hail squalls here in Washington. Talk about your crazy weather. There's no sign of globle warming here. I have about 20 gallon jugs sprouted thus far. We are not crazy. Unless we're crazy like a fox. I will have at least 100 new types of perennials, shrubs and trees this year all for the price of some potting soil and a few stamps and bubble envelopes. Imagine what it would all cost if we bought those plants at a nursery. Connie

Diane, I don't quilt but have some friends at church who do and I think I remember hearing them talk about using the reverse side. I had just forgotten it until you mentioned it. And Sherrmann, I love your suggestion. I really like using coordinating trim (my upholsterer calls it welting) and in fact when I bought the chair fabric I also bought solid colored fabric to cover the trim. I never would have even thought to do what you suggested. I'm gonna end up with a beautiful one of a kind chair--so happy!! Thanks everyone. PS: Between finally deciding on which side of the fabric to use, the idea for trim, and my newly discovered two-for-one rug, it's been a great day at my house! :)

Great story! At least, he didn't decide to change his name to "Adam", the only human who was never a fetus, according to the story of the origin of everything, in Genesis! The Hebrews loved a good story, that was play on words. Thank you! I couldn’t find a pattern that was somewhat fitted without a front closure. I couldn’t find any pull over tops at all except patterns meant for knits. I spent several hours looking at 2 stores. I will measure the pattern against my measurements. Knowing how much clearance I need is useful. The purchased sleeveless top that is also V neck I mentioned above: I can pull on without opening the zipper. I just checked it. It has princess styling: I think that’s the name. It has 6 panels and the cut is very flattering. Though a fitted design, it is not tight. I’ll measure the smallest part of that one. Another alternative I thought of is to do a keyhole opening at the back with a hook and eye. (I’m not sure if that’s the right name for it) Nothing is easier than that. Or a button and one loop made out of bias tape instead of making tubes out of the blouse fabric. That would be much easier than a row of buttons. BUT: that would only help my head, right? Which is not the problem with a V neck anyway. I have a purchased pull-on top with no closure that I always have to wrestle with. I’ll measure that too and find out where it’s too small. I’d been thinking about adding a keyhole closure at the back on that one anyway. I read through my ancient sewing machine manual last night to figure out where I went wrong on the button hole I did. Turned out I am supposed to use a buttonhole foot. As soon as I saw the picture, I remembered having one. But with the exception of the ones I use all the time, it looks like I’ve lost most of the extra feet the machine came with a few decades ago.

Susan, I was going to be a smarty pants and tell you to turn your monitor around, but decided against that. :)

I don't know if it will help or not, but have you tried system restore to the day before it moved?

I wish I knew more and could be of more help.

Many times a simple restart will fix things. Have you tried that?

well I thought maybe a Gnome might have popped off your keys...but you'd know that when you touch it...Hope it's fixed for you soon!!

I'll assume you mean the Back button on your browser.

If you're using Internet Explorer, right mouse click in an empty area near your back arrow and choose Customize from the list that pops up. Go to Current Toolbar Settings, click Reset. That should do it.

Where I bought my computer, the techs say to NEVER use system restore....I hope you got by unscathed using it...I did the time I used it, but they about dropped their teeth when I told them I had done that and they told me not to do it again. A friend's son is into computers for a living and he told her the same thing. I don't know why that option is there if you shouldn't use it, but that's what I have been told....

I've used system restore two or three times on this computer and haven't had any problems associated with it that I know of. It's a few years old.
If you find out the reason not to do it please let me know.
