I'm not lactose intolerant, which is one reason people drink it, but I sometimes buy it just because I love the taste.

what else do you do with it besides drink it?

I've used it in baking. My eldest nephew is lactose intolerant and I wanted to make the family favorite brown bread this past holiday season. It came out great!

I even did a side-by-side taste test and no one could tell the difference.

I really like it, I think it's delicious. You can use it the same way you use milk, so in anything; cereal, coffee, baking, etc...

next question: is it more than regular milk?

Do you mean more, as in does it cost more? Then the answer is yes.

I don't believe in consuming dairy, and I avoid soy, so I use a lot of nut milk.

It's easy and cheap to make your own. Just blend soaked almonds with water, though it works best with a high-speed blender. Or, even easier, blend a little almond butter with water and you get instant almond milk.

If you make it yourself, it's even cheaper than dairy milk and so much better for you and the environment. Additionally, you still get the benefits of the live enzymes that the packaged pasturization destroys.

Hemp milk is also great, and absolutely loaded with nutrition.

Thanks for posting about this, Glenda. I've seen it advertised and wondered how it tastes. Is it almondy, like amaretto but without the alcohol? I keep forgetting to look for it in the stores. I wonder if it can be bought in pint or qt size? Dottie

i've seen qt size..and check the sunday ads..have seen $1 off coupons...

I tried it and liked it on cereal but not by itself. I meant to buy the Vanilla and got the regular by mistake. The vanilla tastes like a milkshake.
