Let me know when your ride up the California coast. Hwy 1 is great and close to my house.

If only you knew...ok I tell you all.. ha ha ha I started having hot flashes when I was THIRTY!!!!!!!! When my mom told me, oh Lucy it takes about 10 years till you are through with menopaws, and I was way past that...I could not hear it anymore lol. All started when they took a Ovary out. Ok I guess that is TO MUCH INFO roflmao Tilly the one thing I hate the most is when I am at a check out counter and having one...I aways think oh my Gosh they think I stole something or did something wrong and am scared to get caught roflmao I do however think that it is getting better. At least the times when you feel like you are on fire...I mean really on fire and you are burning...have not been here lately. ja ja guys...lucky you all do not have to go throw THAT roflmao Lucy

Yay! I'm so happy reading things are getting fixed for you- I hope the finished product is done correctly and doesn't have the same issues. I didn't read every comment, so forgive me if you addressed this already- did anyone ever tell you exactly what caused this? I would want to know the cause to ensure the problem doesn't repeat itself. If it was poor craftsmanship - then I would want someone new fixing them. All I can say is, I have cheap builder grade cabinets that are almost 20 years old. I painted them five years ago (turned out great) and mine today look almost the same as they did five years ago. I have a couple hairline cracks but nothing like you pictured - so little oh me thinks - a kitchen like yours should be holding up way better than my old builder grade cabinets I painted myself. You had every right to be upset too. Again, I'm happy things are getting fixed. Post more pics when they get reinstalled :)

Carol, the plan is next July. Exact dates won't happen till about April.

I hope, to do the whole US coast, but the others have more time limits.

Grand baby pic comes tomorrow. :)

I have just one question for you Moni ... What's it like to be our age and in shape?

Let me know when you're coming to CA also as we live near Laguna, Newport and Huntington Beaches. We're only a few miles inland from Newport. My DH rides his bike down there every Saturday morning, has breakfast and heads back home.

Just awesome!! I just don't know how you do it! Mountains? I couldn't do the straight flat land. LOL. You are amazing. Loved your pictures also.

I always love reading your bike adventures. I love reading bikers on crazy guys on a bike dot com. Yours is no exception. You are brave and love adventure, and I so admire you.

OK, now Moni...... Doesn't that make the little "hill" in Wisconsin seem flat!!! ;o)

I need to go back and see the pictures you put in before Lake City.

That was some of the mosst beautiful scenery ever!

I would love to see those places, BUT NOT ON A BIKE! LOL

Oh, Judy, I am sorry I never got back to you. I got your message some time when I got a cell signal again, but was busy.. riding, getting things back together for driving to New Mexico, and then the grand daughter... and then the drive home....

Anyway, just to let you know, yes, I did get your messages, and thanks for thinking of me.

No problem! I knew you were pretty occupied!

I didn't realize this ride was going to be this long. It was quite an indever. I must say I think the coastline sounds a bit easier.

Judy, the coast line will be hard too, as the road dips down to the waters edge often, and then goes back up quite a bit. It just won't be MOUNTAINS, and long. ;)

Wow...I envy being in that good of shape. Like Jodi said...tell us how that feels. LOL

I truly enjoyed all the pictures...the stories...all of it. I told my DH he should join you!

No matter what shape you are in, or what your body looks like, you always wish for something else. LOL

I wish, I had been in better shape, to ride uphill on all uphills, instead of walking as much as I did.

I have been on my bike again back here, and really didn't see any improvement there either. But, I mostly ride, cause I like to. Will ride in the morning, thus, bed time for me now.
