Either Kiplin or Ed would be fine with me. The previews show that she is second guessing her final choice though...that should be interesting.

As for Wes....he is not only a cad but a complete SLOB! I hope his music career plummets because of his appearance on the show. Did you hear his comment about him "making it to the final 4 with a girlfriend"?

Good riddence to him.

I also have more respect for Jillian not going to the fantasy suites. Shows she has a little class and respect for herself.

I had never watched it till last night. What was the other guys name? Not Ed or Kiplin? Reid?? I liked him the best, but like I said I haven't watched any of it except for last night.

My money is on Ed. I can't put my finger on it but there is something about him that I like. He did give up a job to go back to the show. DH was watching with me last night and he wanted to punch Wes. LOL What an ego he has. I wouldn't listen to his cd if he sent me one for free.

As much as I was disgusted last week, I watched again this week and regained some respect for Jillian when she finally saw through Wes. What a piece of work he is!

I wonder though, how did he get on the show in the first place? Don't they do any screening of entrants? Someone who is a felon, married, whatever could become a "bachelor" if there is no attempt made to verify their honesty and that they are who they say they are.

Now I'm thinking that perhaps the whole thing is one big con-job on us viewers. Plant someone who is "out there" so we can all get worked up and worry that "our hero/heroine" will fall for the "wrong" person.

Wes has reportedly been on radio shows claiming some of his comments are "voice overs"; taken out of context or had some important words either added or removed when he was quoted.

A couple of the Spoiler sites have confirmed this to be true and have spoken with participants from the other shows who have said the same thing. They just insisted on remaining anonymous. Wes is the first to go public, because he's furious he was made out to be such a jerk.

He was never a favorite of mine; I do think he's a jerk...but it's hard to believe that anyone would be so stupid to say those things while being filmed. I'm kinda thinking his complaints are valid.

I'm curious to see which man is revealed next week to have a "performance" problem. And how do you tackle this situation in a delicate manner? And why even discuss it?

No kidding. This has been the most staged, pre-scripted and over edited Bachelor/Bachelorette to date.

I trust nothing I see in the media. DS is often asked to do interviews for local tv and radio. He absolutely made it clear the last time that he would only do an interview live. He got so tired of seeing himself later looking like an idiot due to editing by some clueless moron who didn't understand the topic.

But look at what they've done to this man. He's being vilified in the media and his career just ain't gonna go anywhere after this hatchet job.

Monablair I was in agreement with you. I should have said I don't believe anything on the Bachelorette and take all media with a grain of salt.I was referring to how editing can change everything even in the news etc. I've always felt Wes was getting a bum rap.

The show showed him in a terrible light and hopefully he will get the proper media exposure to rectify it.

I don't think any of the things that Wes said in the limo was voice over. Facial expressions and hand gestures sure went along with what was coming out of his mouth. There is no doubt that Wes was in this to promote his career, heck any opportunity that came his way to plug his new cd, he took it and then some. The show definitely made him out to be a "bad boy", but as he said last night, he was there for "numero uno". I loved what he said to Reid at the Rose ceremony, "I'm gonna get alot of sex when I get home". LOL

"The Bachelorette tell all" show will be interesting between Jake, Tanner and Wes.

wildchild, I knew you agreed. I just wanted to post a link to the interview he gave where the DJ and the co-host were totally convinced he was being truthful when he denied saying some of the awful things that were creditied to him.

wes sounded like such a jerk at the end of the show in the limo but if you go to the abc bachelorette website and watch the diary of the departed episode 8 it is more of his talking in the limo and he sounds like a sweetheart there..so definitely they pick the worst stuff and run with it. I am just not really sure what to think of him...michael said he was a great guy and i really liked michael...

I think Wes is a slob and a jerk and they could not edit him that much. While the rest of the guys were sharp looking in suits Wes always was looking like he was going to the dump. And he's homely. I question Jillian's judgment that he lasted so long. It doesn't look like she's happy with the final choice. I want Reid or Kypton.

I don't doubt that comments/segments are picked to be the most tantalizing. However, I don't believe that any editor can splice together comments so seamlessly that there is absolutely no hint that it had been done. His expression, body position, etc. was right on during his limo tirade.

I recorded the show on my DVR, went back and looked very closely at everything, including the position of his clothing while he was running off at the mouth. He was not being "spliced" into being an a$$. If he really was set up as he asserts, then he should get an attorney and sue (I'm betting that won't happen.)
