i'm having leftover pulled pork for dinner...dh's co is on a golf outing so he's gone...

i actually was able to get out, if for a short while, today! i went a pill run, but already had picked them up (found them later here) but did buy dgd some light weight jeans, and top. you can't beat target when they mark down to 75% off!

made myself lunch and watched "wanted" ....of course i fell asleep and missed about 15 minutes, but at least i'm finally getting the story, lol...

played at fb farm. planted and harvested crops...my friends and i are haivng fun with our little plots of land...i have to go back and chec again. planted something that only takes hours to "mature", lol...

oh i did manage to get dishes done and washed one of the sofa covers...now to get it back on...

Hi all. As usual Im at work but it has been very busy today. I will head out at 4:30 when the car dealer shuttle will pick me up. I left my car this morning to have some minor work and an oil change done. When I get home Im making a meatloaf and while it is in the oven I'll drag the trash and recycling out to the curb. I have some laundry in the dryer so I'll fold that and then I'll collapse! Hard to tell when time I'll eat dinner and then it will be time to clean up and then early to bed so I can do the whole thing again tomorrow. Have a good evening. Satine

There has been a change in supper plans. Cheryl called and is bringing supper out and Kevin is going to pick berries. I think we are having stuffed peppers, baked beans and mashed potatoes. I doubt if I can eat that much! So nice not to have to cook after a long day.

Sooooooo tired. Well, exhausted! Restless nite of sleep.

Ate lunch, bought my neighbor a bouquet of flowers. It's his birthday and recovering from surgery.

I had a massage this morning, hadn't been for at least 6 weeks. We talked and listened to our favorite music, (The Flatlanders), came home, mopped the kitchen, now I'm fixing a good supper, fried chicken, potatoes, corn/green beans.

I balanced the checkbook, paid bills, read both newspapers (and worked 4 crossword puzzles), put away the pots and pans I used for last night's dinner and gave myself a manicure. I haven't slept well for the last two nights--about 4 hours per night and I'm really beat. Should have gotten up and joined the other night owls who were on here! Dinner is POOF'ed porcupines, mashed potatoes, lima beans and fresh peaches with my favorite cake--Pepperidge Farm coconut.

I finished up some boring office work and then headed outside to transplant baby roses. Now I am relaxing at home getting ready to go stitch for a little while.

I'm taking a me day. I ran around like crazy yesterday taking my friend around and doing errands. Caught up on laundry and vacuumed last night.

Tonight I'm taking myself to the late night cheap movie to see Public Enemies. Then I might end up having breakie at an all night diner. That's the plan anyway.

Well, I was up most of the night, and then at 6:00 am I went for a walk with my neighbour. Then I worked for the day. We got a long awaited phone system today, so it was a little chaotic, but worth the wait.

During lunch and after work I dealt with roofing contractors. One of them really tried to rip me off. Grr.

Spending daughter's inheritence. ROFL Hubby got new tires for my car. I got my nails done, then stocked up on scrapbooking paper and cardstock. Joann's is having a great sale.

Since it has be over 100 degrees here for the past 2 weeks, I am not getting out much during the afternoons. Today especially as I had house cleaning and laundry to do. Froze the enchillada's DD and I made Sunday. Never even got dressed or in the shower today. Ahhh, felt good.
Tomorrow will be out and about running errands.
Tonites dinner is leftovers, which Dh and I have a lot of. I hate to keep cooking in this heat, when there is plenty of good food leftover.
I will go out tonite after the sun is going down to water.

Today hasn't been a very productive day for me. I dropped the dog off the groomers, come home to wash her blankets and mop the kitchen floor. I wanted to get a shower then get a manicure and pedicure afterwards BUT the groomer called and I had to go get the dog. Her left ear is really infected and she needed to go to the vet. Call vet, went and got her off to the vet. Vet had to shave her ear inside, flush with meds and dig finally after all that she is home with meds and needing to go back in 2 weeks. Then off to see DS, left him then I am thinking I will go home get a shower and I will go for the manicure. NO, I decided while I was in the shower that since I am going to put pj's on WHY bother to get dressed and leave the comfort of my home. SO, after all that I was feeling somewhat sore and decided to watch tv in bed, after my nap, I fed the dog, made a double batch of brownies, packed DH's lunch for tomorrow (since he is at a meeting til about 8 tonight), made myself a lettuce, tomato and cheese sandwich with mayo and waiting for brownies to cool off, I gotta taste them before anyone else!!! Now, I am back in bed, still having pain. Tomorrow hopefully I will get the manicure and pedicure :-)

I began the day walking my dog, Widget, along with my neighbor and her dog, Bear. They are special buddies.

Came home a did some scraping to prepare for a new paint job on the porch. After that I went to my sister's house to get her Avon order and had to take the tour of my BIL's prized garden.

Then a quick trip to buy dog food and TP. Now I'm sitting here with my feet up to wait for anticipated rain to ease the drought a bit. If the rain holds off for awhile, we may take another walk with the dogs.

DH and I had a coffee date with another KTer justlinda and her DH. Since we met we have gotten together quite a few times....we just seem to hit it all off together, which so nice as I doubt if we would have come in contact with each other any other way. Something very special about KT people. After our coffee date it was home for lunch and then had a DVD to finish before returning it to the library. Then dishes, ironing and all kinds of house associated chores. Tonight it will be feet up and a good book. Budster

Haven't accomplished a whole lot today. DGD and I hit the thrift/resale shops this morning. Came home and made a big batch of spaghetti and then took a nap. Twinkie's taken the kids to the redbox to rent movies and get some icecream. Yay! I've got a minute to myself! LOL

Went to the dentist today. Good brushing, good flossing, Water Pik use...Then they take xrays. uh oh this doesn't look good. Need a root canal, soon. So tomorrow I go in for another root canal (had 2 already.)
My brother is going in for back surgery tomorrow also, it will be a busy day.......

Well I sat back in my bus seat and let the driver do his thing. I saw moose, prong horn antelope, cowboys herding cattle and a switch back highway like a have never seen before, except maybe at Pike's Peak. I am sitting in bed, relaxing, listening to Neil Diamond, in Sheridan, Wyoming. And typing on my laptop. Nice day, saw a bull moose standing in water eating water plants. Beautiful!
