Ole Joyful, frankly I'm surprised myself that I didn't have a heart attack. I knew what to do from years back when visiting friends. My young son walked into the kitchen where we were chatting with paint all over himself; turned out he'd gotten into their kids' paints in the playroom. I thought I was going to have to buy them new playroom carpeting, but they leapt into action, grabbing the shop vac and cold water. It worked great then. It also worked great when a few years later, the same son threw up all over our family room carpeting right after drinking red punch. Just make sure not to pour too much water at a time, as you don't want to make your target go further down.

Susan, thanks for asking. I am always happy to talk about my bean arch! Really, I love this thing. It was cheap to make and shows no sign of deterioration after years of use. The cattle panel is 5' wide, and you plant on both sides of the two ends, which equals 20' of plants. I'll look for a photo, and also a photo of my instructions.

Every entertainment product is "for profit". Even "non-profit" ones like NPR or PBS. No one works for nothing. As above, I don't watch the show regularly but I have at times in the past (as when my kid's friend was on). Frequently there's a clue, sometimes in the category title and sometimes in the brief words given, that provides a hint for what the answer is. The more successful contestants seem to be attentive to them. One example I've just made up might be in the category of Flowers, the question "Long Civil War in England" for which the response would be "What is War of the Roses". Answering the question successfully can be more a matter of solving the clue, not necessarily as in this case a mastery of English history. I recall several times seeing what appeared to be guesses offered in response that seemed like the contestant was acting on the clue, not a recollection of the subject matter. Like many "contests", there's an element of gamesmanship that can contribute to doing well and I think careful attention to the clues is among the tactics that make a difference.

Lindsey, I was thinking the same when I saw that chair. I think every house should have a chair for someone older or with a bad back or any kind of disability at all no matter how minor. The comfort of my guests is important to me. I can almost always find a place for a chair, even if a guest room. But then I have a weakness for occasional tables too and you don't want me to start on lamps. I can always find a lamp I love ;) I do really like that chair and think it could fit with a number of decor styles. I wouldn't be surprised to find it has some value.
